Mr. Ritzhaupt is a great lab instructor! He lectures on the material the lab will be over before doing it, making the process smoother. And he is very helpful during the actual lab procedure.

I really enjoyed my lab with him. He was very helpful and really knew his stuff. He had a way of explaining things in a very easy-to-understand manner. He made the 3 hour lab much more bearable. Would definitely recommend!

Ritzhaupt really knows what he is talking about but isn't really the best of conveying it to his students in the lecture setting. Be prepared to work on your own to learn the information, pay attention in class, and do your work before looking at the answers he posts and you will do fine.

Professor Ritzhaupt is Hilarious and really knows his stuff. I love chemistry and he made it even better for me. He pushed me to do better in his class and even helped me through one-on-one tutoring

Mr. Ritzhaupt is one of my favorite teachers at ORU. Definatly buy the notes from the copy center, you won't have to take notes in class. He explains things really well when you go to his office. STUDY THE OLD EXAMS! Great, funny, and nice teacher! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

He's one of those teachers that are hard to hate because he's so funny. I don't think he really understands that he doesn't explain things well though. I've had to get help from other people for a good 80% of the material and he has very hard exams. However, His quizzes are takehome and homework has answers included. Very "learn at your own risk"

Great teacher. Keeps you interested in the class by his quirky sense of humor. He assumes the pace of the class is that of the smartest person in the class, and for this, he often goes too fast, not throughly explaining concepts. Go to him after class though, and he explains things in a new light!
