Very unorganized teacher. What he talks about in class is not on his exams. He takes attendance, but it doesn't correlate with your grade. Awful "professor"! One of the worst @ CSULA... DROP if you end up with him!!!

THE WORST PROF IN ECON DEPARTMENT!!!You should avoid this guy for three reasons- His lecture is very unclear; he likes to go off topic and confuse you. Textbook(written by himself) is completely useless. And most important, THE EXAMS ARE JUST IMPASSABLE. You should not risk your GPA by taking his class. NOT WORTH IT!!!

This prof. teaches in a very ancient way, you must do hw online through connect which is $50 + text, and the test are very inconsistent with the hw, very confusing teacher

SAVE YOUR GPA!! Fallon is a nice person but don't trust him to teach you anything. You can try to read the book but, it was written by Him...so that won't help. He does curve grades but that didn't really seem to help...

This has got to be the worst teacher in the econ department. Avoid him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he teaches completely different from the textbook, yet he expects you to complete the hw. Buy the older edition of book.

What he teaches is different from the book. Due to his method it is highly recommended that you pay attention to all his lectures and do not miss a class. Avoid taking this class with him. His midterms are nothing like the homework or the book.

He's one of those professors who thinks that he can just show up and talk about what he thinks we need to know today instead of preparing a formalized lesson plan. Many teachers can pull it off but not a teacher like him. I consider Econ the most difficult business subject and it was even harder to understand with him holding the reins.

this is a tuff class and he is a teacher who expects you to know everything the first time he talks about it. There is almost no point in reading the book because it is difficult to understand. you have to attend class because you will not pass if you dont. dont try to act like you know everything and be wrong because he will make you feel dumb

Great Professor. He does get sidelined but I think it's intentional to keep students "alive" in the class. He loves participation so please do that as it will definitely help Ace the class effortlessly.

He gets off topic very often. Tends to talk about other economic issue, instead of teacher class material. Was not clear on the material and then gives SUPER HARD midterm and finals. Gives you a project to collect Wall Street journal articles. Don't buy the subscription, you only need 5 articles total.

I'm a int'l student, and, overall, his class was hard. 2 mid&final and 2 group projects. one proj is based on Wall Street Journal, and another proj is graph analysis. But!! His class is passable. Even if you fail on the first mid, don't worry. the 2nd mid and final are way easy than the 1st mid. I got D on 1st mid, but eventually got B.

His teaching style scared me and a lot of times stuff was on the midterm that he never touched on in class. He can be vague, but I really did learn a lot about Monetary Policy. You figure it out after his first mid-term... He does give a bit of mercy by adding points to everyone's grades. Attendance helps, be on time even though hes late a lot. :o)

He's abit unorganized with his lectures, text is about 65% unrelated to his lectures. He seems uncaring and intimidating at first, but he cares if you show that you care. Lectures/attendance is very important, take good notes! Once/if you get his style of teaching (usually after midterm#1) you should be ok. 2 midterms, 1 final, 1 team project(easy)
