DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!without a doubt the biggest waste of 3 hours. everyone posted that he loves to hear himself talk - he does, but he manages not to actually SAY ANYTHING! Sooooo much work and no credit for it. something that took me 2 hours is worth 1% of the final grade!! when he gets into it he's like a crazed badger or something. STAY AWAY!

Prof Lazzaro's public speaking class was very challenging, tons of work outside the classroom. But if you put some effort into your work and go to him for help when you need it, you will probably do fine, just don't expect an A, because he doesnt seem to give too many.

Seriously, you need to drop this class IMMEDIATELY. He could quite possibly be the tideous most ridiculous teacher i've ever experienced in school. Public Speaking is an easy class....just NOT with him. You WILL NOT get an A in the class....he plays favorites and loves to hear himself talk over and over again and again. I warn you.

Stay away if possible! Lazzaro is a nice guy but his class sucks. He makes everything way more complicated than it has to be, gives out way to many useless handouts, and LOVES to hear himself talk. Most of the people I talked to barely passed, including me.

Lazarro's grading system is need of a serious overhaul. I swear this guy doesn't want anyone to ace his class. Also, as others below stated, he talks way too much, often keeping us after class 15 minutes spewing his pedantic rhetoric. He takes this stuff way too seriously. And, again, I can't stress how tough he grades students. Steer clear.

This guy loves to hear himself talk, and most of the time it is about something you don't need to hear or care about. He gives out way to many hand outs and grades you with a really difficult rubric. I suggest getting another teacher, unless you want to hate your life for the 2nd half of the semester!! P.S. He also rudly argues with students.

Lazarro is horrible, and always looks dazed. too many handouts and 2 much BS, and by the time you complete all the neccessary work for the speech, you loose comfort in your performance. I suggest picking a topic that you like and are aware of before you speak on it. it will keep you sane.
