Gamble is the man. He is very relationship based, and he genuinely cares about what is happening in your life. It's been four years since I graduated, and I still think about him from time to time. If anyone is considering taking a course or working with him on his/her IS - DO IT. He will push you because he expects your best - but you'll be proud.

I cant get over how amazing this class was. I had no interest in North African history before taking his class, and now it's one of my favorite topics. He made me more confident in my writing, which was definitely shabby when I started. He's a nice friendly guy that was always willing to help. Honestly he's the best member of the French department.

I've taken three classes with Gamble so far and I really like him. He's very flexible and willing to help. However, he's really awkward when he speaks in English so that can be a little frustrating. Basically, if you put a lot of effort into his classes, you'll get a lot back.

Harry Gamble is hot! For a 101 class he was fabulous. I understood everything very clearly and he prepares class in such a way that we can practice a lot. Don't fall behind on your homework and studying, but overall a very fun and educational course.
