Great professor for EE Math. Teaches material rather clearly. Homework problems can be tricky sometimes, but overall not too bad. You'll always be prepared for his exams.

I had professor Heffes for Probability. He often arrived late and left early. Sometimes he intimidated students and I felt he glossed over many important aspects of the material. There is no doubt that he is a brilliant mathematician and a very intelligent person, I just don't think he is a very good professor.

Heffess is the best professor that I have had at this school. He is clear and consciece. Because of system's theory, I now know what I would like to do with my degree. He is hard, but very fair, and will schedule time to help you

Comment:

One of the best professors, any student can come across. Extremely talented in his area of study and a very efficient teacher. He consummates both the roles that of a teacher and of a senior member of the EE/CPE department with the best of his ability.
