He's a really nice person and he explains the concepts and problems pretty well. He has quite an accent but it did not really hinder the understanding of the subject very much. He's a funny guy. Keeps on messing up on the slides though. He has to fix it every class.

Comment:
Munoz is the man! His lectures are mostly written-out on the board and a little disorganized at times. Concepts are explained well and definitely easier to learn compared to reading the book. Quirky and keeps his lectures fun and interesting. I wish he was teaching the advanced version of this course. Would definitely take it with him.

Had him for two semesters. His lectures aren't the most organized, but they are mostly helpful. There is weekly homework for CSE318, but it isn't hard. Exams were also pretty standard (similar to examples on homework) and leniently graded.

Munoz is a great guy, very helpful and knowledgeable. Has an (awesome) accent that may be hard to understand if you're ESL, but if you're a native English-speaker or have reached fluency, no problem. He will make you work hard for a good grade, but the quality of his teaching more than makes up for it. Exams are a bit tough, but manageable.

Munoz-Avila is an excellent professor. Wasn't sure what to put for clarity - his speaking style is not clear, but the conceptual clarity of his lecture organization and presentation of ideas is amazing. He teaches 318 and 335 incredibly well, but 340 was not so hot. He's excited about the material. It's cool.

This man is the essence of INCOMPETIENCE. He couldn't teach his way out of a wet paper sack. Class consists of "proofing" things by example and is completely unrigorous. Thinks he and his slides are funny (neither are). In conclusion, he sucks for ruining all of my theoretical CS courses.

Very funny teacher. Makes attending class actually worthwhile, if only to laugh at his jokes. Grades pretty hard on homework, aso you actually have to try, and loves putting 25 point true-false questions on exams.

Pretty unorganized. Shows up late and lets u go early. Level of detail on hw/tests is unclear. Sometimes tests are easy and sometimes they are really hard. Hard to keep track of what to study. Amusing lecture though, and a nice guy.

Professor Munoz is an awesome teacher. He is the funnies teacher I have had at Lehigh. He made what appeared (to me) to be a boring class my favorite of the semester. He is a very nice guy as well.
