You can barely understand a word he says. He doesn't ever fully explain a topic. Goes off on random points, that are irrelevant. Was so bad that I had to drop the class

never made a D in math in my life. granted, i was messing around in this class, didn't really go to lectures, but he overloads with info and doesn't answer questions directly and often goes on a tangent. the lectures were always dry, a lot of writing and note taking. didn't use textbook.

Comment:

Dr. Turski should not be a professor it is evident from his body language, interest and availability that he does not care about his studentsunless you form part of his esoteric group of intellectuals. Because it is hard for him to admit that he is wrong, he will spend an entire class justifying his mistakes. I do not recommend him at all.

He is the definition of a super boring and monotone professor. Always make mistakes and spends half the class trying to explain a problem (off the ex. from the book!). Takes homework even though he never goes over anything from it. I won't recommend him to anyone. 3 exams + 1 final + a few quizzes in between exams + 3 projects.

This dude is so bad, he doesn't know how teach and explain the problem, he follows the book as it was a holy one ( doesn't know anything outside of it), he makes mistake EVERYDAY, seriously NEVER take his class unless you have enough knowledge to teach .... or would understand the subject by just reading the book!.

Good prof. He's a smart guy. 3 tests and final. 10 pts bonus question on every test. Gives review for every test and exam is almost same. Just practice the review and you will be fine. Easy class.

STAY AWAY. All notes are written on chalkboard. No handout notes. MUST have math background prior to enrolling in this class. STRONG ACCENT. Will not give mercy on final grade. Going to his office is pointless.

Makes frequent errors while writing directly from the book yet insists everyone should know the material even though he doesn't seem to understand it himself. The lecture is word for word from the book and he does not like answering questions in class. If you are doing poorly in class he will just blame you for not being able to learn. !STAY AWAY!!

I took Prof. Turski in 5 semesters. He is a great professor, sharp and brilliant. He has an accent since he comes from Europe. He is very helpful, drops the lowest, extra 10% project, open book exams, and bonus question in every exam. However, he requires the students to have a decent math background especially if taking an upper level course.

He will not help you with questions in class and is not very clear because of his accent. He doesnt pick up the homework but it is factored into the grade somehow. He will tell you if you pass the final you pass the class, and he is right because I only passed the final thanks to the math lab and review.

horrible professor he dosent explain well and is annoyed when students ask for help. he assumes everyone learns right then and thier and at times make mistakes and not realizing that he did STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!!!!!!!! if weak in math....

Took dr. turski for modern algebra, he made the class really difficult. Even though the test were open book it still didn't make sense. the book was useless and the lecture didn't go in depth enough for the test. He's not a very good teacher, he needs to improve his method so his students will benefit and learn something.

He's hard to understand and doesn't like you to ask him to many questions but if you go to him after class it's so much different he'll try his best to help you understand. He also would look out for you in exams showing what you did wrong and why. Got a A in the class but would only recommend him for ppl who is willing to put in time...
