He's a pretty good teacher, tests are harder then other GenChem professors but he compensates for this with a "fatty curve" He curves the grading scale by 5 percent, so an 85 is an A- This is a huge difference. You have to get like a 35 percent to fail the class. YOU HAVE TO DO SUGGESTED PROBLEM, the open answer portion to his test are very similar

he SUCKED in like every way possible. i hated his class. once asked him to upload a practice worksheet online and he just looked at me like i was on crack like IM JUST TRYING TO GET A GOOD GRADE?????? and then all of his tests had an average of 50-60% which is HORRIBLE. would never take again i would rather lick acid off of the floor.

Reads straight off slides, monotone, does not go in depth of information. If you don't go to class, you won't miss much as long as you read the slides. He is barely available for office hours, and his study guides don't do much. His homework questions sucked too.

Professor Landry is a really nice person, but his class lectures and powerpoint slides were not reflective of how the tests were. On one test the class average was 55%. Most of the time the homework was problem sets that we didn't know how to answer and would be things we hadn't discussed in class. The lecture seems easy but the tests were HARD!

He's a nice man but he teaches basic formulas and expects us to be able to magically know how to use it in any way. He gave us problem sets and some of the questions we had no idea how to answer so we had to google them. Do NOT think that the slides are everything, he teaches basic stuff but you still need to read the book since he leaves stuff out

this class killed me. the tests were very very hard. the problem sets he assigns every night were easy but dont prepare you at all to the difficulty of the tests. the class average was a 55% on an exam and he didn't seem concerned at all. He's very slow at responding to emails. take at your own risk.

The class was a joke. It's science for liberal arts kids, so it's like 8th grade science. Seriously, one of our projects was to figure out how to improve parking on campus. Another was to look at the moon and draw it for 8 nights in a row. I got a B+ in the class cuz I guess my drawings were bad.

Very hands on class. Some of the readings were random. Get a good group to be with cuz basically the projects are what your grade is based on. Nice guy.

Pretty entertaining and laid back teacher, let us out early most of the time. The class was fairly useless but he seemed like a good teacher anyway.

Very laid back class, always got out early. Reading throughout the course, 2 individual projects and 2 group projects. Not much student-professor interaction on a personal basis.
