Comment:

She assigns a fair amount of reading, so just make sure that you actually keep up with it. If you participate and show up to class it is an easy A, and she even exempts you from the final paper if you have perfect attendance and participate regularly. I definitely learned a lot of life lessons in her class.

Comment:

After taking 60+ credits worth of science classes, this class was kind of a slap in the face. Would definitely recommend taking this class early on. Other than the readings, the class isn't bad. I'll warn other guys though; the main book you read is definitely written for a female audience. Nice prof, but don't take if you can't remember deatils.

Comment:

Funny and engaging professor. You read two novels throughout the semester and each quiz is on chapters from one of the books-very easy-just pay attention in class because her notes ARE the quizes. The final was a paper on the book and the Exams are all on the other book. It is easy, just read three chapters a week and thats it. Very nice and fun!!

Professor Mercincavage is a very optimistic professor. She expects everyone to have read the material before coming to class. Always participate in class in order to receive points. Be sure to know the material well for the quizzes.

she talks a lot but its better than listening to accounting the whole time. very friendly, she pretty much gives you what problems will be on the tests. as long as you're not super lazy and do some work this class isn't that bad.

Horrible, horrible professor- avoid at all costs. I know more about her life and dog then i do accounting. Seriously, avoid at all costs- take another class if she is the only available professor for accounting that semester. If you do take her, expect to be bored and teaching yourself- I mean studying hardcore for 2 weeks before a test. Avoid!!!

She talks alot about other stuff aside from accounting. She recognized your needs and helped out as much as she could. She tells you what is exactly going to be on the test. so just study that and you'll be fine. I think most people just slacked in the class and that is why they didn't do well.

she does talk about her life, but that wastes a good 10-15 minutes. Homework helped a lot to understand the material. I never studied my notes for the tests. The notes did not help.

Accounting. Impossible. She talks about her job as vice whatever instead of accounting. You have to have read the material already because she doesn't explain much and has no time to help you outside of class because she's so busy. No recommendation.
