Kaufmann is a great professor and will make you understand government. If you do the work and memorize the notes, the test will be easy. Listen in class, everything he says in class will most likely be on the test, but it is not hard at all. He is a comic. Wish he would allow more class discussion.

If you do not take one of his classes then you truly are missing out. He is politically involved, but NEVER leans a certain way. If you don't know his affiliation prior to class, you won't be able to figure it out in class. Highly recommend taking him. Go to class, take notes, and be attentive. Easy as that.

Great guy and amazing teacher. He is very clear in his teaching. All that is needed is to take good notes and you will do fine. He is quite funny. I disagree with the previous comment. He made a clear point to encourage his students to vote, but he never once said for who or mentioned his campaign.

Prof. Kaufmann is an awesome teacher. I took psychology and US history from him one summer in back to back classes and not many teachers could keep your interest for that many hours everday of the week, but he certainly did. Highly recommended!
