He is really not bad, but when a side topic comes up he really takes it seriously as critical thinking. He never stop talking, He argues with the students and the best part was he barely gives homework.

Comment:

He is a very...interesting man. He wears jeans and a turtle neck under a jean button up shirt every day. He says "riiiight?" and "really sort of" all too often, so that is annoying. We hardly had homework, but the essays were too involved. He is funny at times, but he hates quiet people and is ignorant. I liked anth. less after his class.

I'm really surprised he has so many poor ratings. I thoroughly enjoyed his lectures which opened my mind up to new ideas. If you're gonna be stupid and sleep in class, then yes, he will pick on you. I would definitely recommend him for any critical thinking course.

He is good to talk to one on one, but not a whole class. Most of the time I was lost and had no idea what he was talking about, he was NOT clear at all. Half the class failed. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HIM, USELESS USELESS MAN.

He is a very nice teacher,but does NOT answer back to emails.He does not teach well at all and explains things so HE understands.Essays are stupid for the exams but you have to write 4 take home essays,its an easy grade but its rediculous!as far as the Ethnography paper due at the exam date,that was a darn joke!its an easy credit.dont reccommend!

This professor was nice at first, but he definitely had favoritism towards some students. He was such an ass to me bc I didn't like to participate as much as some of the other students and when I would go to ask questions about something he would roll his eyes and make smartass comments! Such a ****....maybe he just hated me but I wouldn't recommend taking him especially if your not a fan of group discussions

This is the WORST class I have EVER taken! He always has to be right, and is a blatant socialist. Constantly picks on Conservative ideas calling them "uneducated" and close-minded. When you finally do speak up against him, he says your wrong and then lets the rest of his cronies ( the other students) attack you for him. Don't take this class!!!

He is a very nice man, but I was taking this class an elective. At the same time I was taking Organic Chem and Lab, and Human Anatomy and Physiology 2. This class requires a lot of attention. I had to drop it because it was too hard to do with my other classes, but overall he is a very nice professor and man

I took this class to finish up a requirement for my major, but now Im wanting to at least have a double major with Sociology. He is funny and uses the book alot, so make sure you read it. There are some classes you go away with a new outlook on life, this is that class. Make sure you study and participate, if not during class then after. He's great

Super nice, kind-hearted, funny guy. A little quirky, but entertaining. I took winter session, so we just had 3 exams that made up our grade - almost every question was from the textbook. Read the textbook and you will do just fine! He likes when people speak up in class (extra credit), so start participating on the first day.

At first he seemed like an interesting teacher- gave good examples and was funny. But topics started to get boring. He doesn't like admitting he is wrong. And never really says that any answer is correct, he always has to modify it. He repeated some examples over 20 times. If you study for the tests you'll pass.

JERK! I hate this man. There is a quiz like everyday on subjects he hasnt even taught, any answer you give is wrong even if you are reading it word for word out of the textbook, and somehow an a average equals a c in his book. He teaches basically the opposite of the book and has no idea what hes talking about..
