Great prof, super cute. His notes are readable, and posted online afterwards. Examples are really helpful. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to do quizzes, ie not the night before it's due, so that you can fit in a second attempt.

All you need to do to ace this class is know his notes, do the problem sets, and do the practice exams (which are usually almost identical to the real exams). He is so cute and nice and really loves what he does.

dr klassen was the nicest prof in the whole world..i honestly will miss him soo much, just seeing him made my day.He is a very very good teacher his midterms were easy but the final was challenging you had to know every single detail he said. I wish he teaches chem 102. Dr klassen teach 102!!!! if u get him, your really luck make use of it.

Definitely glad I took his class. His exams are incredibly easy if you know to study ONLY his notes and examples, and do his practise problems and practise exams. Almost exactly same format of questions on the actual exams, no surprises. Just wish I'd known all this for the first midterm, probably would have gotten A or A+.

He is a great prof! One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, and has a great sense of humor! His lectures are great, notes are very clear, and exams are incredibly fair. If you attend class, do the problem sets and practice exams you should do very well. I would recommend his class to anyone.

He is by far my fav prof!Ive been in univ for 3 years now and he's the best one ive had so far! Know his notes, practice exams and the obvious STUDY!!Do those and you should get an A guaranteed!

Dr Klassen is an awesome prof! he's got a good sense of humour and he has really clear notes so if you understand his notes, his tests are not hard. make sur eyou do the practice midterms as well, they are a good indication of his style of tests.

I couldn't learn from Dr Klassen. I'm usually an A+ chem student but his lectures bored me to sleep and his notes were blah. His tests were pretty tricky compared to his practice tests he gives you. Overall he's okay though. You'll be okay if you get him.

Dr. Klassen is a very clear professor, with a great understanding of the subject. He gives practice exams which are very helpful. His midterm and final exams are as expected - if you know the material, you will do very well. Do the practice problems, and you will do very well.

Dr. Klassen was a very funny guy with interesting demos! He also had clear notes so you know what you need to know and the textbook was rarely used. His midterms were relatively easy and like his practice ones. His final was slightly harder ( you need to know everything he covered... if you do, you'll be fine). Highly reccomend!

He's a really nice guy. His notes are really nice because he writes everything on overheads that you need to know, so you can easily keep up taking notes. He makes it clear what you need to know and his practice exams are practically the same as the actual ones. The only problem was that he had some control problems in a huge lecture hall.

Klassen is a very nice guy. His practice midterms are same as real ones. Hes pretty clear when he teaches. Its only that his practice final was nothing like the real one. His final is very difficult and requires thorough knowledge of everything. Otherwise hes cool. His jokes are soooo funny also.

Really good prof and definitely one of the better lecturers for intro chemistry. Kinda drones.. But the intro chem lectures are all boring either way.. Notes are succinct, exams are easy (same format, some same questions, and difficulty as practice ones) and he seems like a nice guy. Take his class!!

Great prof...easy tests, funny, clear notes, and very helpful. He really makes an effort to make inorganic chemistry more interesting, which is a feat unto itself. He has the effect of one of my high school teachers...his jokes are funny just because they're coming from him...i guess it's just his personality. anyways, get him if you can
