Dr. Misak was by far one of the best professors i've ever had. He's super down to earth and cares about the well-being of the student. he pretty much knows that no one reads the plays/short stories, so if you go to class and listen to what he's saying about the plays you'll 100% get an A. one of the only classes where i enjoyed the discussions

This is definitely one of my favorite classes I've taken at NYIT. I'm used to very strenuous classes in my major but his class is very relaxed. As long as you follow the format to each assignment and do rough drafts of the assignments before submission to show to him for feedback, you'll definitely get a good grade.

Overall a great professor! He does get off topic in class, but work still gets done nevertheless. 3 papers, 1 test, a final, a couple short stories in the beginning, and some plays at the end.

He assigned a lot of work but as long as you put any effort and submit the papers on time you should be fine. He also responded to emails and posts on Blackboard pretty fast and gave good feedback on assignments. He tries to make the assignments fun and interesting.

Just listen to what he says in class and you will pass. Also read do not lie he knows people don't read but if you read and pay attention you will be fine. He gives you all the chances you can have to pass.

He's honestly the absolute best, detective fiction with him was the best class I have ever taken. He makes it so interesting and fun, I loved going to his class. Take him, you will love him.

Professor Misak is a super laid back and understanding professor, he's relatable, funny and lenient with late work, but don't abuse that. Throws in some interesting stories and conversations into a rather boring topic and makes class a breeze and one of my favorites. I'm taking his class again for FCWR151.

Professor Misak was awesome. Best teacher at NYIT I've had so far. Only 2 papers were mandatory and after he graded them you have the chance to rewrite them for a better grade (Fix what he marks wrong) and offered 1 extra credit paper which wasn't bad at all. Only test were midterm and final based on plays and short stories read.

Extremely goodlooking. Actually he resembles batman, but besides that, he is very opinionated, very intelligent, and a very intriguing professor to take. I definitely recommend taking him as he only gives 2 papers, and 2 exams, and throughout the class no work besides that is done.

Prof.Misak is awesome! Just show up, pay attention, and participate in discusisons and you will get an A. He makes the reading very interesting and he is an interesting person. As another student said you will learn a lot about life by listening to him. I wish they all could be this good.

Great teacher. Not a lot of work AT ALL. be prepared to read a short story before class study for a half hour for the tests. Two papers, not hard because he lets you redo them. He the type of teacher that wants you to do well and do whatever he can to make sure you do as long as you put the work (not very much of it) in. A great teacher too!!!
