A cool and funny guy. He makes the class really relaxing. DOESN'T REQUIRE ATTENDANCE and GIVE TONS OF EXTRA CREDITS ( really easy to get) Take him! Easiest A ever!

He was really helpful explaining the problems. 4 set of homework which is not really stressful and you don't need the book. He is an easy grader too. I worked it out quite well last spring. ( Math was my nightmare during high school) Don;t get depressed by the first exams, he'll give extra credits to your work.

This professor was VERY intelligent. His tests are only 20 problems which makes it more difficult to get a higher grade. He does teach a little fast and there is some self teaching you might have to do. Take his class but it's kind of risky if you're barley learning the material.

Mr. Wilson should be a history teacher teaching the old ages. Class is simple & good for someone who can basically teach themselves. He can help but he's not the type to sit and thoroughly explain. HINT: He's a part-time teacher & teaches as if you already know what you're being taught. My advice, pick another if you truly want to learn math.

Goes over many problems straight from the book..will explain problems in detail..all the homework is extra credit which makes up for bad test scores...if you stay enrolled you will pass...tests are moderately easy... his isclass laid back...he's really funny and easy to ask him questions...i recomend this class to anyone.

Nice and funny guy, but it was hard to understand what he was teaching probably half the time. Had to do A LOT of independent study time to get an A. Very knowledgeable but has trouble "teaching" and having everyone understand the material. You must do all homework and have no more than 1-2 absences.

A great math teacher. He shows you the different ways to solve the same problem allowing you to choose what works best for you. Never seems to mind when students ask for help and actually takes the time during lecture to make sure questions regarding the previous lesson are further explained. Tends to trail off into jokes or random stories though..

Took linear algebra (very abstract) from him. He didn't know how to explain the material; in fact he would often read out of the text! Very unorganized and unprepared, and shows processes for problem solving instead of theory (problematic in lin alg). Tests are easy but you have to teach yourself! Only plus is hell tell a joke everyday.

Pretty funny guy, keeps the classroom climate light, with jokes and stories(normally not Math related. The class itself seemed like I was teacching myself and if I didn't understand he was there to clarify, but didn't put the topic in easy to understand terms. Pretty easy homework and test as long as you understood the material. I would avoid!

Nice guy, does his best with the jokes. He doesn't have prepared lessons but thats good because he teaches you how to go through the thinking process of how to solve each problem. Tests are short and easy if you get the gist of the material. He takes attendance unfortunately and you have to bring your textbook each day. I'd take him again though.

Cool guy. Layed back, breaks mundanity with a joke here and there. Basically, he will go over 2 sections a day, you do the odd problems on those sections, and he'll go over some review problems next class before going on to the next sect's. Make sure to ask him questions, as he tends to assume you understand well and keep going if you stay quiet.

Best math teacher at SWC. He has hilarious jokes and stories but teaches the math in the most understandable way. If you have any problem understanding, just ask. If you don't pass it's because you didn't ask questions. He also has the easiest format, he splits homework into 4 parts, and you turn it in when you do a test.

This guy knows what he's doing. If you can't keep up, ask him to slow down and he will repeat if necessary.Sports-fan, good jokes, nice-guy, what else do ya want? The typical class:first hour of lecture he reviews problems from HW, other hour he discusses next section/s and works out problems.Great teacher for engineering and science majors.

Funny guy. He knows his stuff, but when he teaches the material, it's dry. In lectures, he flies through pages then reads it out loud without any structured notes. Notes are basically even problems out of the book. He spends the 1st hour on homework, then lectures the next hour. Review homework in class to do well in tests. Final exam was tough.

I took his class last summer. He's a cool guy. Kind of messy, he jumps from different spots on the board so it gets kind of hard to follow. Willing to explain questions but sometimes doesn't really clarify the problem. Doesn't move on to next lesson until everyone says they understand. Especially with his "safari" hat and irrelevant stories, FUNNY.

Mr Wilson is extremely smart and loves teaching. Problem...He can't teach. Gets irritated when asked questions, but will try to explain. Unsuccessfully unfortunately. He is not the teacher to start college mathematics with. Also VERY tempermental. Blew up at one student during a class. Unacceptable
