Professor Lamb is by far the best prof at Pelli. He made calculus look so easy. His lectures are amazing and he actually cares about your success in his class. Before every test he has a review that he goes over step by step and it looks very similar to the test. If you take calculus and don't take him, you're wasting your time honestly.

Comment:

Professor Lamb is among the best professors that PS has to offer. His desire to help his students succeed, work ethic, and kindhearted nature in class is unparalleled. I had him for 1910/20 and loved him more with each passing class. Be sure to always do his homework, attend his office hours if you need help, and never be afraid to be honest!

Comment:

Lamb is the best math teacher Ive ever had. I took his calc 1 class and loved it so much that I revolved my schedule the next semester around having him for calc 2. His passion for teaching and math is obvious. Even though the homework is optional, I recommend doing it to get 1/3 of missed test points back. He is very understanding and flexible.

Mr. Lamb is the BEST math teacher I have ever had. I took his Calculus 1 class over the summer and homework was optional, there was only 4 tests with no final and all his content was posted online including the pages of the textbook and he would stay before or after class to help you understand the math. I highly recommend him as a professor.

I love Professor Lamb. I've had three different math professors at Pellissippi now and can say I've liked them all. No one has the passion for teaching math that Lamb has though. That passion is matched by his compassion for students. He really wants you to do well and will work hard to help you succeed. He sets his class up to work for any student

Lamb is the definition of a good professor. He is there to challenge you and give out help when needed. Great communication skills outside of class (email and tutoring). He also gave us free access to textbooks online so we didn't have to pay for it. A very well organized man. Somebody wife him up.

I knew within the first five minutes of the first class why he has the best rating of any math professor at Pellissippi. He's amazing. So enthusiastic, so genuinely interested in the success of his students. He goes above and beyond when it comes to extra resources. The only way to not do well in his class is if you don't even try.

Had professor Lamb for Calc 1 after a nearly 10 year break from calculus. If you want to learn the material and are willing to put in the work, take professor Lamb. One of the best professors I have ever had.

Dr. Lamb is THE best math teacher I have ever had. I have always struggled in math and he genuinely helped me become better at it. He is super accessible outside of class if you need extra help. His tests are set up exactly like his practice tests, which makes it easier to study for. He gives plenty of extra credit. Highly reccomend him!

He is truly an incredible professor. He is passionate about what he does and that shows in how he teaches. He is available whenever you need him outside of class hours, and he will do whatever he can to help you succeed. He is kind, funny, and understanding. Show up, pay attention, and youll do just fine. He offers extra credit multiple times.

He is what a teacher is supposed to be. He does give hard test, but does a test review for each test so that you know exactly what will be on them. If you don't pass his class than It's your own fault because he does everything possible to help his students, including lots of extra credit. Both my older brothers and I have loved his class.

I've had him for PreCal and Calc I, and I am about to take his summer Calc II class. He is the best teacher I have ever had. He cares about your success. If you do your work, you will pass easily and offers extra credit opportunities. On top of being an amazing professor. He keeps it interesting by making jokes and jumping around the classroom.

He made stats fun and taught the subject with a lot of passion. I would recommend taking his class because not only does he explain the criteria in a way that's easy to understand, he provides the students with printout notes for each lesson!
