Amazing lecturer! Extremely knowledgable of high/late Italian Renaissance. Be prepared to be taking notes all class but his lectures are really interesting and he provides a ton of information. Take good notes and listen in class, you'll do well. One of the most knowledgable profs in the art history department! Also extremely accommodating

Prof. Unglaub is truly amazing. His lectures are very insightful and his passion definitely shows. He tries his best to make the lectures amusing and you'll find yourself more interested in the content than you had anticipated. He is very reasonable and accommodates to your needs if you reach out and talk to him.

A truly amazing professor!! His lectures interweave the social, political and economic milieu into the art topics in a way that makes the information extremely interesting. A class and teacher that can simply not be overstated. He sparked my interest, and made the topics enjoyable. Literally the best teacher I have ever had!!

Excellent teacher! I love his classes! His teaching style may seem unoriginal/boring for some people, but I personally love it. He's very helpful and flexible when it comes to any problems you may be experiencing. The class atmosphere is very comfortable and he makes the information interesting and engaging. I definitely recommend him!

Loved this class. He speaks like a textbook, but it's worth to pay attention because he makes it really interesting and funny too! Tests are a little difficult, but if you study well can definitely get an A.

He has a real passion for his subject and that is definitely reflected in his lectures. I found it infectious. He really knows his stuff. If you're an art lover, I would definitely recommend this class. If not, you might think it's a little too in depth, but you'll learn a lot.

I found Unglaub's lectures to be esoteric in tone and he expected us to be desperately in love with the topic to an unfair extent, which was definitely reflected in his interaction with students and grading. And he's not hot. Foppish, yes, but not hot.
