I have absolutely no idea what most of these people here are saying. Josh is one of the best drawing teachers. He does push you a lot and makes you work for stuff, but that's because he cares and wants you to become better as an artist. If you want to become better at visual observation, he is defiantly a great guy to learn from.

He is very rude, if you do not match the talent of everyone in the class, he will pick on you. He is the worse teacher ever!!! He is crazy, he would have a conversation with you- say things and twist his words and say he didn't say it. If he doesn't like your work, he will pick on you.

Okay, first off, this page needs to be updated. He is now teaching at Mercy. Second, he's an okay teacher, and just okay. If I could rate him, I'd give him a 3/5. He's completely insecure, and attacks you if he "thinks" you're insulting him. I've never met a teacher with so many hang ups before. I never had a problem, but you oughta know in case..

I had him for Drawing I at SCSU. A great teacher, helpful, encouraging. I learned a lot in his class. He grades fairly. I wish there were more professors like him
