Comment:

I took the class online and the canvas was super easy to navigate. You have one homework assignment and one quiz per week. Just keep up and it's easy. You have to read the book but it's not bad. The only bad thing is he takes a long time to grade things and doesn't put it in canvas till the end of the semester so you don't always know your grade.

Comment:

Nice professor, I recommend him. He's not easy, but not hard either. One essay a week and 4 exams. 4th exam is not a cumulative exam, so it was also easy. Lectures are funny and you don't even have to show up to them, attendance doesn't affect your grade. Just make sure you do your work, and pay attention and you'll do fine. He isn't hard.

does not care if you go to class, 1 short assignment per week, only 4 tests in semester, funny and laid back. if you dont go to class just read the textbook and ull be more than fine. final exam is the 4th test (no cumulative exam). inputs assignment grades last 3 days of the semester. puts in test grades pretty fast tho. take him! easy class imo.

he' a really laid back and funny guy he assigns one essay question every week but they dont have a specific word count so they're really easy and the tests are pretty easy as well, 100% recommend if you dont like going to class, you could literally pass the class if you only showed up for the first day and tests

Not gonna lie, he's a really cool dude. He is constantly cracking jokes in class. He also teaches pretty easy content, and so long as you get all the work done, he won't kick you out of the class for being absent. There were 4 exams through the year, and 15 homework assignments that were just some easy essays.

Professor Trpovski is a funny outspoken person. we only had 3 questions he calls essays to answer for hw every week. midterm and final was the only tests and a paper due at the end of the course. He's really easy to communicate with. I would recommend him but he does speak on things about how he feels and he's blunt with it. We got along very well.

This class really isn't that hard. These other reviews are way too dramatic. One quiz and three "essay" questions a week (250 ish words each). He is very very clear on what he wants. You won't see your grades immediately so if that gives you anxiety this class may not be for you. I highly recommend taking this teacher, just follow directions!

Trpovski takes points off of essay assignments, but doesn't give feedback so it is difficult to improve. The quizzes are easy if you read the book. I eked out an A, but all of my essays were graded at a B- to B range. It is unclear how they were graded. Five points off one assignment isn't bad but it adds up after twelve.

Please Please Please don't take this professor! This class was my first and only B at Valencia! He grades harshly and doesn't give any feedback on your assignments. His instructions are not clear at all.

Did not grade any assignments until the end of the semester, so the whole time I thought I was doing good, but he just put a random grade on each one. Then I tried,but the questions were from super specific sentences from the book, reworded of course, that were impossible to find. Unclear grading and no feedback. Only B I got at Valencia.

Comment:

This class was an easy A by a Dual Enrollment Honors/AP High School student. That said, this teacher waited until the last week to grade the bulk of the assignments, weekly "essay assignments" that required answering three of five questions from the textbook. Also weekly quizzes with two attempts. Just keep up with the work you will do fine!

The quizzes are easy if you read the book, however, he does not grade any of the other work until the end of the semester. In addition, he does not give feedback and is not easy to contact, especially via email. This is a DIY course with only due dates given. I was hoping to learn from this course but in order to do so, you need a professor.

He was really nice and really lax, but he wasn't quick to upload grades (though you could ask him and he would give them to you), and with the amount of writing there was (a lot!) , I was kind of disappointed we didn't receive any feedback on the scores we received. Overall it was okay. You just need to keep up with the writing assignments.

I took State and Local Government online with Professor Trpovski. It was quite a bit of reading per week followed by one assignment and quiz for the chapter. There are practice quizes for each chapter, which I highly recommend doing right before the quiz. Final Exam was an essay on any local law or policy of choice. Easy A and gives good feedback.

Definitely must read the book thoroughly to pass, this professor was good but I never got feedback on my assignments and why points were counted off. Weekly quizzes and assignments that weren't that difficult as long as you read the book.

The class itself is easy. I barely read the book and got a solid B. But I took this course thinking current events would play a role. Instead I felt the professor did not even teach. Every week was a 25 question quiz and a 30 pt short answer essay. It was a hard letdown when I was so excited for State & Local Gov.

He assigns you the textbook to read and then gives you essay questions. He does not actually teach anything. I didn't receive any of my grades until the last month of the class so I had no idea if I was passing or not. He doesn't leave comments on your work and grades very harshly. The quizzes are based off of sentences in the book so read up.

Class was difficult with little to no feedback on work that was completed. Slow to answer emails and provide clear direction. Very slow to grade. I wouldn't recommend this professor for an online class if you require clear direction.
