He as a professor is fine, but he gives way too much homework. Barely 3 weeks in, we already had to do a 10-slide minimum Powerpoint presentation on a trite research article, on top of the weekly quizzes. Has you watch weekly educational videos that are over an hour and the site crashes regularly. Wouldn't recommend taking this if you're full-time.

Easy online class. Weekly assignments and quizzes due, but all easy just remember to do them. Theres a couple of projects using powerpoint that is simple bc he gives you the exact template he wants, a 1500 word paper, one midterm and final. He's a really easy grader. The midterm was exactly like the lectures. Very manageable, easy to get an A.

A good choice for this class. The material is dry itself so he tries to make it interesting. Such a caring person and very approachable. His tests can be scary but you can pass even if you get low grades on midterm and final, as long as you do everything else. The first class is overwhelming but it gets easier.

Martinazzi is a great professor and easy A. He is really laid back and teaches the very dry content in a way that is somewhat interesting. A couple of presentations, a group debate, and a paper here and there. Not bad at all, a definite break from my tougher courses. Would take again.

He's very fair and understands that not everybody's a computer science major. Study guides prepare you for the final and midterm. One assignment due usually every week but you can do it in class. Group projects are kind of frustrating because of other students but his grading is easy as long as you participate. Simple expectations.

He's very clear and the class is easy if you follow his guidelines. Study guides for tests are extremely helpful. Midterm, final, 1 small individual presentation, and 1 big group project. Barely uses the book, if ever. His grading is very fair and he's helpful if you need anything. Gives good feedback and grades very quickly. Would take him again

Not a hard class but a lot of busy work. Assignments due every week but they are easy - you just need to remember to do them. The group paper is the hardest assignment. One midterm - only need to look at the lectures for the answers. Same with the final. Overall an easy class but remembering to do the assignments is key. He is an easy grader too.

Good professor and easy class; however, A LOT of memorization. Two group projects and several class presentations. The two tests consist of about 200 matching questions and 5 essay questions. The prof. provides you with the questions on the test two weeks prior, so all you have to do is memorize the answers.

I really enjoyed this class. You do not need the book, but there is a lot of work to be done. 1 Research project, a debate, a group project. As long as you do the work he will give you a good grade. I would recommend the class to anyone interested in computers!

This guy makes it much harder than what it actually is. He doesn't even know what he expects from students. Confusion all through out the semester. Gives a 5 pages Syllabus that he doesn't even know what's written in there! I don't recommend him for an easy A course... which I hardly got an -A for no reason. Don't buy the book.

Lectures are very long and can drag. Honestly, very boring material. This class is not an EASY A. It involves a lot of group projects and a lot of time to study for tests which are 250 points. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY THE BOOK. SAVE YOUR MONEY! Everything done on blackboard. I skipped like 5 classes, yet still managed to get an A by just studying h

Horrible teacher. Uses blackboard only to teach and the material is boring. Many in class assignments, and the tests are worth 250 points for a midterm with all matching and short answers. Took like 20 hours to take. Keeps you all class time, and sometimes over.

This class was ok, some of the material presented by students was great. Does involve doing some work (individual presentations, group debate/research). However, gives easy points for attending class (sometimes small in-class assignments), so be sure to be there every week and you get extra credit at the end. Exams are too damn long. I got an "A"

He is a good teacher. He gives you a study guide before every test which has everything on it. There is a lot of busy work in the class and you do have a couple projects: 1 being a powerpoint presentation and the other is a 5 page research paper. Class is a little boring where he just goes over his own powerpoint. I studied and got a B

Prof Martinazzi is the best teacher I have taken for Computer Science. Class is very easy and informative. Lectures are interesting and not boring. Tests consists of 100+ matching ?s. But he gives you all the answers and study guide questions. If you have a good memory, you should get an A.

Pretty good teacher, pretty easy class, but take it for granted, I did and I got a 'C,' which I am embarrassed about. Just take it seriously and you should get at least a B. Good upper divison GE class.
