Dr. Fitts is wonderful. She has become a friend and mentor to me over the years. Her class was tough, there was a lot of reading and writing everyday. The presentation could be on ANYTHING and it was tough to choose. She is willing to help her students out in and out of class. I went to her office hours frequently. Wonderful person and professor.

Dr. Fitts is a very nice, smart woman. She is a hard grader, though. For a presentation, I was two minutes under the time and she dropped my A down to C. I liked her as a person, but I don't know if I'd take her classes again.

Dr. Fitts is fantastic- People say she's not clear on assignments but I disagree- she's always very helpful and clarifies when you have questions. She makes the material easier to understand. I took 2 classes with her and loved them both. Definitely take her! It's not an easy A but if you prove to her that you're trying, she'll notice.

Extremely sweet lady. She cancels class a lot and gives lots of time for assignments. Also, she is very helpful if you ask. Very open to individuality and diverse opinions. She's great.

fitts is frustrating. although she is a very sweet lady, she takes FOREVER to explain assignments and even then, they are unclear. also i dont think she actually reads the papers.. on our first paper, everyone in the class either got an 83 or a 79. i dont think she is particularly fair, grading system is confusing

I don't like writing that much, never have. Honestly this teacher is a good one to take though because she genuinely cares about her students. I had trouble in her class, because of my attendance, and work, however she was available for meetings, and helped me out to get to where i needed to be at.

I had her for ENG 194 and her assignments were unclear and we never finished anything. She is a pretty easy grader but I wouldn't recommend taking her. Her teaching style is very awkward and I know she is interested in what she talks about but she has a hard time explaining things clearly.

Dr. Fitts is my advisor and I had her for ENG 194. In both she was totally useless. Her class was really boring and we spent most days discussing pointless things and listening to her slowly reiterate what everyone has said. That being said she's a nice lady, but she sucks as an advisor and as a prof.
