Comment:

I did not enjoy this online class. I'm not sure how this professor is in a class setting but unfortunately I have to take school online. Almost every day an assignment is due and if not then you are late and receive a lower grade. Her expectation are a bit extreme.

She is a horrible online professor. She expects you to write a book for each discussion. The way her online class is structured is not normal. She is a tough grader and wont give out anything over an 80. She's a horrible teacher, and most of her questions make no sense. She wants a source on everything you write even if its your own opinion. SO BAD

I really enjoyed Professor Malachowski's teaching style. You get a "term's sheet" which is handed in for credit before the test. And the test questions are literally the term's sheet. If you study that, it is so easy. I got over a 100 in this class with extra credit. She is really sweet and straight forward with exactly what is expected of you.

I thought this would be an easy A, but I was wrong. Tests and homework are super easy. The discussions are where it gets hard. Most discussions are 10 questions with a mandatory of 500 words total as well as watching videos that are up to an hour long. She's a really tough grader when it comes to these.

Comment:

She is a great professor and carries a heavy heart for her students, the ones that show they want to be there and get a good grade, however. She is extremely strict with grading and offers no exceptions. She makes the class as difficult as possible. But she is very caring. Good luck and participate as much as possible.

Shes a very nice woman but she doesnt like being told shes wrong. her students know more than she does on anything related to nutrition and she contradicts herself. Her directions are super unclear for everything and takes off points and wont explain why. Quiz every week but its almost impossible to fail. She gives you every answer. Easy class tho

She is a great professor and wants her student to succeed and do well. She is willing to help you with any material in class you don't understand. She also gives your opportunities for extra credit that most professors do not offer. I loved taking her CPR and nutrition class. I actually looked foward to going to her class.

I am a 4.0 student and I have taken MANY online classes. This class is a very easy one when it comes to a material but she has not given me one DISCUSSION POST grade over a 75%, even after doing everything that she has asked. No feedback is given. It is impossible to achieve a 100% on any assignment. Do not take her.

I have taken all my classes on-line and her on-line course is very confusing. In the modules she docent not "check off" when home work It's done. There is an ENORMOUS amount of writing and reply's to discussion boards. There is so, so much busy work it interferes with learning. She is unfixable, goes by strict rules and is a tough grader .

Lots of busy work. very specific with assignments. Takes off points for little dumb things. Likes I-class group projects. Gets off topic a lot. Participation and attendance are helpful to your grade. Power points have all the answers. The "exams" have questions that we never learned or went over -_-

Teacher acts like online discussions are essays, can never score over an 85. Very specific, finds something wrong with almost any writing post! Should be easy content but she makes it harder.

took her for intro to nutrition. easy class but she gives lots of busy work and her grading is ridiculous. Takes off a lot of points for little things. She's rude sometimes and always has to have the last word. & instead of admitting she doesn't know something she will just make stuff up.

She is a decent teacher. She's pretty rude sometimes honestly but overall she's ok. The workload is pretty heavy and she's a very tough grader. If something is a little bit off you get a lot of points off. The class is not that hard you just really have to understand the assignments she gives and a lot of the times the objective is not clear

I'm not sure why students did not like Prof. Malachowski. I really enjoyed her presence and discussions in Drug Use and Abuse. She is very compassionate on the subject and wants to learn from her students rather than trying to shove information down our throats. She could honestly sit there and listen to students all day. Easy class, I recommend.

Overall this is a pretty easy class to pass as long as you do the excessive amount of work required, there's a test every week along with some in class paper and then dietary analysis's. She's pretty picky with grading too if you miss 1 term on your homework she'll give you a zero. Also is kind of rude to students, if you need an easy a take her.

Usually had no idea what she was even teaching, sometimes would get into full on debates with someone in class because they knew more about nutrition than she did. Do not take her class, and if you do good luck!

Not clear with anything, sometimes it felt as if then students in her class were more informed than she was. If you ask for help she gives you an attitude and her tests had nothing to do with the practice quizzes. Test every single week! So if you're looking for a self taught class take her if not find someone who actually likes teaching

This class and Professor Malachowski are enlightening and informative. Prof. is very approachable and willing to clarify any questions a student my have. The course is detailed but not hard and class interaction is encouraged. Attending this class is a plus and raises awareness in area that are important but often not thought about.
