Comment:

Professor would spend 45 minutes of the class talking about college football and not teach the material. He was never clear on what he was talking about and reiterated the same concepts that he used for each topic. I had a doctor's note saying that I had a fever when I missed class. He disregarded it and said that he doesn't feel well sometimes.

Awful teacher. Doesn't even try to make it interesting. Has an ego the size of the moon. Passes out an attendance sheet but doesn't really go by it. His materials are out of date and some of them haven't been updated since the 80's. Check them, they actually had that date on them.

Dr. Aupperle is an awesome teacher. Then again, he and I saw eye to eye on many things in politics, sports, and history. I do understand why some students would dislike taking his courses. Keep an open mind and don't freak out on the tests.

Nice guy, but very boring class. He relates EVERYTHING to The Lord of the Rings.... Only have 2 tests and maybe 2 quizzes, not a hard class, but very boring.

Dr. Aupperle was a very good teacher, but his tests were brutal. True/False and Multiple Choice, and there was a possibility of earning a negative score on the tests. He did offer extra credit, but did not give very much advance notice of when it was due. He really likes to trick students on the tests.

Egomaniac, He loves himself and will not abstain from talking about how great he is. Test are hard, 30 TF, 50 MC. there are as many as 7 answers per MC question. very few quizes=20% of grade, 2 midterms=80% of grade. OK prof + boring subject + boring class + 1 grade letter of XC= a tough B for many, an Impossible A for most.

Great teacher.Class is dry by nature of the subject. Grade is based upon only 2 tests, with an optional final to substitute for lowest test grade. Not necessary to purchase the book, just read his notes. Offers easy extra credit opportunities like watch a movie and write one page on it. highly suggested.

Don't take HIS class. Talks about Lord of the Rings, running marathons, and when it is time to take the test you would not know what to study since majority of the stuff is what he says in class. Does not allow you to leave class for even water! As a management teacher he does not practice what he preaches. A waste of time!

Where do I begin? The tests are crazy hard. Each t&f was a paragraph. MC are a,b,c,d,e,f,g. All he talks about in class is Lord of the Rings. Has never written a single thing on the board. Talks about random crap that is meaningless. When it comes to test time you have no idea what to study. Take someone else.

He was a decent professor... challenges you to think creatively about business problems. Quite a bit of work in the class... but that should be expected in the capstone MBA course. A little too heavy on the reading material though... we read two books (novels) over the semtster, plus read and prepared cases each week. Overall, good rating.

I am on the fence with this professor. I got an A in his class, but there were times when his comments would really offend me. I think he enjoys getting his students worked up though. He definitely says what is on his mind,so prepare yourself for an interesting semester. I used the book very lightly, he posts a lot of the same content online though

i would recommend this professor. he has a decent sense of humor and offers extra credit. however, go into his class with an open mind and don't anticipate structure in his teaching. its very laid back and what you need to know is either covered in his lectures, a handout, or his notes online. you should not need the book at all.
