MGT 322 and ICS395. Both classes you have 3-4 assignments 10 questions you work with groups of 4 pick your team wisely. He allows for 3 drafts on the work. Work smart not hard, split the questions and its easy. He wants you to figure it out yourself. Don't wait until 3 days before it's due to start. Capsimulation (ICS) was a pain. DMAIC for 322 ok

A bit of a tough grader, but is always readily accessible. Will let you submit drafts and reviews them very quickly. Gives you a grade off what you submitted and feedback on what further to explain. There is a lot of reading, but most of the articles are interesting and will let you work in groups.

Great Professor. I took him for my first graduate management class and I really enjoyed his learning structure. Ignore all the bad reviews on him. His class is manageable but an A will not be given to anyone who is not willing to do work or learn. I will definitely take this professor again.

5 week course, 5 modules - no quizzes, no tests. Professor allows students to pair up in group of 3/4 - highly recommend taking advantage of this as it will help in completing the weekly writing assignments. He also accepts drafts of the assignments before final drafts are due. Provided prompt feedback. Not an easy A, but possible with hard work.

His directions are ambiguous because he wants you to use your brain and develop your critical thinking skills. Your future managers will not hold your hand and guide you through everything and neither will Ken. All the material that is covered in this course will be applied once you enter the business world. This class give you a chance to prepare.

He has 5 assignments and 1 final DMAIC project. He is a very tough grader, he expects everyone to work hard to a PhD level. If you turn in drafts he says it's okay and then subtract points when you turn it in. He is always available to help but it's still not good enough to help you understand what he wants on the assignments.

Mr. Thompson mentions in the introduction videos that he purposely makes this class challenging than other online classes. Highly recommend to pair up in a group of 4 in order to do the 5 Assignments and Final Project.

Awful professor. For the fact that I went out of my way to review on this teacher says a lot. He piles so many documents/ presentations on D2L without explaining which ones we will use or what they are for. He gives long assignments without explaining them, then on top of it, he grades ridiculous. DePaul really needs to review this man.

Comment:
I would agree with the other reviews. He is very unclear with assignments and grading criteria. He rambles off topic a lot and is very boring. He allows drafts of the cases, so I suggest keep sending drafts until the due date in order to get as close to what he wants as possible. I would not take him if I could help it.

This class was very hard. Pick your groups carefully. You will be working with that group for most of the class.

He's nice. However, his teaching style is horrible + he isn't very clear with assignments. The expectations were so unclear. 4 cases and some random extra credit. You'll work on a case for 2 hrs and get a horrible grade. You'll be worried all quarter about passing, even if you work hard.. so steer clear. Worst professor at DePaul.

If you do not have patience do not take his class. He doesn't finish a clear or concise thought. You are pretty much guessing for everything but then grades extremely hard. Does not provide direction, if he does will call you out in class for still be wrong after you followed everything he suggested. TERRIBLE.

I took this class with this professor because he had great reviews before. Needlessness he is the worst professor I have had at DePaul. That is saying alot considering that this was my last class before I graduate. He gets of topic frequently and is vague with his assignments. Do not take him!

It was the worst class that I have taken at DePaul. He believes this undergraduate class to perform like his graduate class. Does not explain material well and gets off topic repeatedly. Gets frustrated when no one understands him and is rude about it. Believes that everyone has a Ph.D. like him and already knows the material. SUCKS.

I've never written a rate my professor review before, but this teacher was so bad I would be doing DePaul harm by not saying STAY AWAY. He assumes we all have a Ph.D in the subject matter like he does. Extremely unfair grader, his lectures make no sense and doesn't provide good feedback. Our group would spend 6+ hours on a case only to get a C or D

Absolutely the worst class I have taken. He doesn't teach at all and on the off occasion that he does talk about management, he talks as if you should already know what he is talking about. When you go to him for help he doesn't say anything and then when you explain your thought process on an assignment he doesn't care. Rude, unhelpful, RUN AWAY!!

Professor is really nice, wish he was my grandfather. However, his content is bad bad bad. Uses Baldridge Performance Excellence Program based on a Healthcare Booklet. His job is to engage students, make Measurement of Quality Management an interesting, useful for the future. This class is a waste of resources. You memorize, spit back, forget

Very nice person but very unrealistic/ unclear expectation. Mini lectures he posted for the online class did not relate to the assignments. Had 5 assignments to complete and each took 20 hours to complete to get a good grade on them. I wish I had taken the compressed class. I am normally a straight A student but suffered a lot in this class.

He is so nice and sweet and willing to help. No one got below a B+ in my class. He is funny and willing to explain anything until you understand it better. Heavy reading, but skimming is fine because you talk about it in class. mid term and final both typed with a cheat sheet, two in-class assignments and a easy project. TAKE HIM.
