Suda sensei is easily my favorite teacher I've had so far. As it's my first time learning Japanese, I felt super lucky to have her as a professor because she's so sweet and will try to help you if you're ever confused. As long as you study and pay attention, it's an easy A. She definitely helps you build a strong base foundation on the language!

Suda Sensei is the best! She will explain things to you until you understand. She is extremely encouraging and even if you fall behind she notices and coaches you to try harder. She is so understanding and really wants her students to succeed in school and in life. One of the best professors I've ever had.

Took the class based on placement exam. Her course was too easy for me. Had I spoken up she could've pulled some strings for me to skip, but I wanted an Easy A Constant workbook HW, quizzes on vocab and grammar, 1 midterm and final, 1 project which leads to presentation, 2 oral exams in her office. Class is taught 90% in Japanese. Very busy teacher

Simply THE BEST teacher I've had at USF so far. I took her for my last 3 semesters of Japanese, and she is fantastic. Although you definitely have to work (it is a foregin language), she is very clear about what she expects of you, so that you know exactly what to study for all assignments and test. And she is SO helpful and approachable!

I was lucky to have her as both my 1st Sem and 2nd Sem Teacher. Her English is clear and concise making her explanations extremely easy to comprehend. She makes you understand. she is really caring and puts a lot of effort into her work. I highly recommend her especially for 1st sem & 2nd Sem where the basics are really important.

Suda sensei is simply the best...professor I've had in college. Very caring, understanding, and knowledgable of our struggles with learning Japanese. The homework is light, daily quizzes, and she prepares you well for the exams. If you wish to take Japanese, you owe it to yourself to wake up early and register for her class.

I took 2 of her classes before.She is extremely nice and kind.A few times,she even brought in snacks to share with us. Her 5-min-quizzes are easy.The only time that you really have to study is the midterm and final.She is a caring teacher.She even spends time to plan your classes with you. HIGHLY recommended to anyone who wants to take Japanese.
