Very intelligent man, but should not be teaching. The class was a waste of time. He loves to hear himself talk and goes off on tangents that have no relevance to class. It's a shame bc I was actually excited for this class, but I learned absolutely nothing. He also holds U in class until the very last minute even when he's done lecturing. AWFUL!

Worst class I have ever taken. It is a waste of time. He lectures about himself the whole time. The tests have nothing to do with class material. He literally makes up grades. The test questions are random essays that he never discussed. He's so boring too.

This was my first PHI class and I thought while in it it was pretty rough and not one of my favorites. However he is a very Nice and fair professor. His tests are straight forward and he gives you questions to study prior to the test. This is the worst professor i have ever had!l He lectures about NOTHING relative to the class, uses a very impressive vocabulary that is borderline INCOMPREHENSIBLE, doesn't engage the class to participate, NO TEST but a 15 PAGE paper he doesn't even read! Yes, an easy A- but in all honestly, if time and money were not a factor, I would retake it!

Ok... He's an easy grader, helpful, and a nice guy. However, he's the single most boring teacher I've ever had. The guy is as dull as they get. The amount of reading for the class is insane and he doesn't go over it at all. Just asks for questions and then spends 45 minutes, repeating the same thing over and over again. Bring a pillow to class!

He's a pretty smart professor. He definitely knows what he's talking about. He seems to show more attention to you if you sit towards the front. If you discuss the topic in class, he'll give you a good grade. Easy class, but kind of boring. It's worth it though.

You know, he's not that bad of a guy. VERY INTELLIGENT, no doubt a bout it. He talks alot, make sure you sit in the front, he'll show you more attention. the tests are not that bad. just writing essays, and he gives you the topic before-hand. You might feel intimidated, he likes to contradict and argue different views. Take him, it's worth it.

Very boring guy. Gives two tests the entire semester, but be prepared to write a lot on them. The more you write the better your grade will be. There are better Philosophy professors at Post I recommend taking someone else.

okay well i guess he wasnt as bad as i thought he would be. i took him for a WAC course which was better i think because we only had 2 classes. i didnt really read anything he said to and when he called on me i just said i dont know. towards the end he got really annoying though and made us meet on the final day even though we had no final.

horrible! makes you feel soo stupid when you answer a question. he calls on everyone so if you dont like to talk dont take his class. if you say you dont know or not sure he still makes you at least say something. dont take the class

He does get off course alot. But I have to disagree he is not so bad. Hardly did the readings, and managed to get really high grades on both his exams. Resulting in a final grade (A). Make sure you get the basics of the readings and the strong and weak arguments. Two exams each weighing 50% of your final grade, and that is it.
