Laurence Jourde has been my least favourite teacher. If you don't care about enthusiasm you will be fine but otherwise she just drones on. She absolutely hates lateness no matter the excuse and will put her class above all others. She has a passive aggressive attitude when you cannot answer questions. I honestly wish i never took her class.

Very sweet woman. Exams are not difficult but at the same time I learned a lot with her. Try not to miss classes as attendance and participation is graded.

Amazing professor. In very class, during attendance she ask every student some very common questions, like what did you do this weekend or what are your plans for holidays..... This is very good way of practicing French. Not so hard assignments. i recommend her.

Im usually the kind of student who skips class because i can learn the material myself. YOU CAN NOT do this for this class. attend every class that way you will learn the material quickly. Most people did well

Pretty good professor. She's very laid back-will generally accept late assignments, doesn't grade too hard and doesn't assign a lot of homework outside of lab. Frequent tests, but very relaxed other than that. Would def recommend her!

Prof Jourde is a great teacher. Her knowledge and experience makes her a really interesting teacher. She explains the material very well and wants you to do your best. She does her best to give you as many marks as she can. She does part marks too, if you try, I would recommend her and would try and be taught by her for a similar class.

This class was great! She had the students participate alot and gave us a lot of practice pronounciating. I always left the class with a smile on my face. I wish to have her in the future!
