Comment:

Teacher NEVER gets back to students. He changed due dates 3 times so far (without notice) & wont let students make up work (even though keeps changing the dates). The grades are easy just mandatory quizzes and optional extra credit. The extra credit is a lot of work and he almost never gives credit. If you have a choice, take a different prof!

Comment:

The professor is terrible at getting back to students. If he does, all he says is "read the syllabus". It would be nice to feel like he WANTS to teach. Grades are straight forward, really dry and boring way to take the course. If you want to learn and if you want a teach who acts human and cares about your leaning DEFINITELY do not take this class.

I really liked this class. Make sure you read the textbook and you should do well on the quizzes and the exams. However, each quiz and exam has a time limit so that is really difficult to keep up with but if you study hard you should do well. I got an A- in the class but I also did extra credit for this grade.

Took his online class. Must have/read the book. You'll have a quiz on 1 chapter every week and an exam on 3-4 ch's every few weeks. Answers are directly from the reading and the material is easy and interesting. Read the book, take the tests, get an A!

This is by far the worst class I have ever taken. There might as well not even be a teacher. Everything was straight from the textbook and what little interaction we did get from participation (postings) was with little to no guidance. Easy class, yet not worth the frustration of his arbitrary grading technique.

THIS ONLINE CLASS WAS A WORKLOAD. FULL TIME STUDENT/FULL TIME JOB, LOOK ELSEWHERE. WHEN YOU ASK HIM A QUESTION, HE WILL TELL YOU TO FIGURE IT OUT YOURSELF. VERY UNHELPFUL, DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU AS A STUDENT. EXTRA CREDIT HAS TO BE PAID FOR. NOTHING INTERESTING IN HIS CLASS.

I tried to argue a couple of quiz questions that I clearly should have gotten right according to the book and he (she?) gave me the answer "at least you still got a better than average score". Umm thanks? How about giving me my points instead.

I took Dr. Jankovich's online course. He is straight forward, read the book, take the quizes, do the practice quizes, respond to modules for extra credit, and you will be fine. Open book exams as it is an online course, but if you wait to open the book when you're taking the exam, your screwed. Exams are detailed oriented and conceptual.

The class is not hard but you have to read the book to do well on the exams and quizzes. The question Jankovich asks are super detailed and word for word from the book. Also I did not post and I still got a decent grade in the class.

Stupid professor. Isn't helpful, god forbid you ask for clarification on something. He tells you to re-read the syllabus (the area where you are questioning.. hmm makes sense..) Quizzes/exams are open book but don't think to use it. He has more questions than offers time for - 60 question exam in 55 mins or 15 question quiz in 10 min

Online class is weekly quizzes and exams. Its all multiple choice but not easy if you don't read the chapters. He posts chapter outlines which are very helpful. He lets you post articles for extra credit weekly.

I took the class online. Do the weekly quizzes and the exams and you'll pass. Simple as that. You can do discussions for extra credit. It's truly an online class and it's as easy as you make it.

Took the online version of B187. He's a stickler for the rules. Everything is spelled out in the syllabus and he will not change the rules to suit anyone's situation. Other than that, the class is easy since it's just read the book take the tests once a week. 12 quizes, 3 midterms and 1 final exam.

He is too wordy...tries to sound smart in his asignments, but ends up making them incomprehensible at times. You will often times find yourself trying to decypher what he is trying to say. But he is a rather fair grader.

Min 6 hours per week to do well. Hint: write term paper as you go. Don't wait til the end. Don't expect much from Prof Jankovich and you won't be disappointed. He doesn't like to communicate can be condescending, but you can get by without him. Good news is he curves.

I took the online class which was pretty much explanatory as far as it is just taking a quiz or exam once a week. You could do it pretty much open book looking at the index but you wont get As on tests unless you do some reading as well ahead of time. I thought it was pretty hard to remember all the material for the test even with reading though.

This is the most useless teacher in the history of my college life! Don't understand anything that he lectured therefore, didn't bother to show up to class! The online quizzes and test are extremely hard! No matter how much I studied fro that I always end up getting a low score! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!

I took online class since I have full load plus I work full-time. I got a B and the quizzes are weekly with three exams and a final. So be prepared to put some time in it. Online tests are timed avg 1 min per question so you must know some info. People who say he SUCKS and test 2 HARD aren't good students anyway.

worst teacher ever!! Avoid at all costs. The online class was ridiculous with assigned groups, adn in the end you learn the slackers benefit his grading system while yours is only brought down. Suck it up and take it with someone else on campus. I cannot believe how horrible this teacher was. its really sad how infelxible he was
