LOVE Veraldi. The book she used for this class was so interesting, you will learn a lot. I like how she doesn't allow laptops or phones, helps you focus more. Read, take notes on the reading and lectures, and study. You'll pass with an A. She's so nice and will talk to you and help you during office hours. Fav professor in the media department.

I really appreciate this teacher. Yes, she is strict about phone and computer use, AS IT SHOULD BE. You are here to get a degree, not to text your boyfriend on social media. She is very knowledgeable on the subject, very clear, and sets you up to pass as long AS YOU READ AND STUDY THE MATERIAL, as you SHOULD, since this is no longer elementary.

MMC3123 - This should of been an online class. Professor was USELESS. She read things from blackboard (that i could just read from home...)HARD quarterly exams. She lectures as if you already knew what she is talking about. She is nice & give us good examples but should of just been an online class. Answers emails promptly. DONT TAKE HER.

Professor Veraldi was my favorite professor this semester. I just think she's so cool. The class was 2 hours but I felt like time flew by. We took 4 exams throughout the semester and that was it. (Go to class though, that helps out a lot.)

Professor Veraldi has a very strict no food or technology policy. If you aren't used to taking notes on paper or need your cell/laptop at all times, this 3hr class will be difficult for you. On the upside, theres no homework at all! The grade is solely based on 4 tests, thats it. Complete the study guide she posts, it's super helpful! You got this!

I loved Professor Veraldi. She's a strong woman who pushes you to do your best in her class. I recommend her for the ones that are willing to learn about the legal part of communication.

If you think you can just skim the readings and barely come to class you'll fail. Apply yourself, read, and make sure you understand the overall concept. All test questions were right from the readings, said in class, or an example of a concept. The worst part about this class was how entitled people felt to an A. She is an amazing professor.

I think the big problem with Prof. Veraldi is that she lives in the past. All she does in class is talk about how nobody reads newspapers anymore, but she doesn't teach you what to do about it or how to survive the industry. Her class is depressing and super boring. I think she should teach "History of print media" not media management.

Prof. Veraldi is an excellent professor at FIU. She takes a difficult content and breaks it down for students so it's easy to understand. The lectures are long and packed with a lot of info. so it is very important to take notes. There are 4 test and she drops the lowest grade. She is very nice and likes to help her students.

She talks a lot. Her lectures are extremely long. Doesn't let you use your laptop. Study guides are unnecessarily long. However, her tests are not that bad. As long as you do the readings you will be fine. Try to go to every class because she will make sure to include something discussed during the lectures on the exams.

Class was difficult, but if you apply yourself and actually study you WILL pass. No textbook, just readings on pdfs and a downloadable handbook. Go to class because some things that are on the test, are from the lecture. She doesn't do pop quizzes/homework anymore, so that's good. Overall great class and person. Very educated. Get ready to learn

Very long and boring class. She's very monotoned and repeats herself a lot. She flip flops around topics. Typing notes it's not the "right way" to learn according to her. She uses a lot of old stuff like VHS's & cassette tapes then complains it's not working properly. Her study guides are long and not even half of it is on the midterm or final.

Class is super boring, if you have her for a 3 hour class, be ready to be there all 3 hours, was the same for MMC 4200(that class was 50 mins, but she still talked our ears off), make sure to take notes as they do help somewhat for the exams. The one positive I do have is that her grading scale is favorable, she just adds your points, no averages

Awful teacher. Poorly prepped lectures & stupid rules. I came late because the bus broke down, I couldn't turn in hw or do a pop quiz. I had to turn down job interviews after since you can miss 1 hw and 1 pop quiz without it hurting grade. My friend in class had to turn down interviews too. She has no consideration for our lives outside of class.

I prefer typing notes, I can't do it with her. She says we don't learn if we use tech. Her class is unnecessarily long. It's 3 and half hours, twice a week. She repeats herself a lot & wastes time with random videos that have nothing to do with the class. Her lectures are boring & poorly prepared. She's the only one that teaches this course sadly.

Prof. Veraldi establishes the rules from the very beginning. If you are unhappy with them, take someone else. If you learn better in a structured environment, this is the class for you. No eating, drinking (other than water), laptops, cellphones or electronic devices are permitted during the lecture. You get a 15 minute break. Excellent teacher.

No laptops allowed and notes and given on an overhead with barely an visuals. The lectures are long and can be very boring. Having said that, if you do the reviews, you should be fine for the exams. Short, straightforward exams. Collects homework for a grade every week.

Took her twice. First time I dropped her class because I didn't want a C. I wanted to another professor, but unfortunately she's the only one who teaches this course. Do EVERY worksheet(every point counts), the readings & take notes. Make sure to clearly understand the concepts & STUDY for the exams. 3 exams+optional final, keeps 3 highest scores.

These lectures are very long and packed with information. It's important to take good notes, do the readings and properly prepare for the exams. Some lectures may seem to go on forever, but hang in there, a lot of the information given to you will be critical knowledge when the test comes around, and overall it's very useful information to have.

I absolutely love Professor Veraldi. She broke down the laws and made them easy to understand. Be sure to do all the readings, take good notes and do all the worksheets. Make sure to attend class, it really helps when the exams come around.
