The class grade is made up of attendance, tests, a mid-term, a final, self paper, and a book report. Tests are pass/fail and can be made up with essays. She's a little older, can behave REALLY eccentric at times, and it's hard to read her notes, but she also REALLY cares for her students and wants to see them succeed. Glad I had her for psych!!

Such a sweet lady! I loved her and would recommend you take her. The class is super easy and still very interesting.But in the beginning when she asks what grade you think you should get, dont be modest. She uses it!

She is super easy, but to get an A you have to read a book and write a 5 page paper, so since I was a transfer student I didn't bother with it since the credit only transfers. You can miss up to 2 classes and after you miss more than that you are not eligible for an A. She takes attendance towards the end of class, Which is my only complaint.

Essayist class ever! Definitely take her class no HW besides studying and reading a psychology book to get an A which is optional. She also gives six tests that are pass,fail over the chapters you learn in class. Which you have to write a five page paper over if you fail. Her notes are bad and she cant hear good but besides that take her class!!!

I have never had a more interesting professor than Lothman. Its a 9 AM class, but she does a good job of holding everyone's interest. Her notes are all over the place, but her grading system is extremely easy. Do yourself a favor and take this professor.

Nice lady. Too many videos and not enough lecture. Learned nothing except what I read. Goes off on tangents and is hard to follow. Easy grading policy. Dropped because I can't handle how scattered everything was and class is boring

She's an AMAZING teacher !! I hope she teaches FOREVER. I tell everyone to take her. She has the best stories and really cares that her students do well. She'll make it so easy to pass and that's what really helps students. She's wonderful.

Best professor ever! Probably one of the most amazing people to ever meet and was really inspiring for the field of psychology. Easy class as long as you take notes and she really wants you to do well and really cares. You could listen to her talk all day if you have an interest in the field, she had the most amazing stories! Great professor!

Beware she is a strange one. But she is interesting. Sit in the front of the class becasue her notes are all over the place. Her grading makes for an easy A. To get an A you must write a paper on a psych. topic of your choice and she grades it easily. Tests are easy, if you do bad you must write a paragraph explaining why and you will be good.

She was an excellent teacher. You never get bored and you want to learn, she makes the class interesting and fun. She is creative and makes Psychology meaningful. Other Professors could learn from her, she wants you to know this stuff, but does what it takes for you to succeed. Not everyone gets an A. You must work for it. Best Professor ever.

She's such a nice lady. Had 2 tests and a take home final. I have to say though I didn't really understand what was going on in the class sometimes and spent the semester kinda confused. But I ended up passing because she curved the grades which was really nice of her. If you want an easy A, take her!

Great class. She is very funny and entertaining. Sad the class is over already. A class you will enjoy attending. Easy A but once you have it's yours to keep. Once you have it you learn so much more because the pressure is no longer there like other classes. Take her classes!!!

Professor Lothman is not only a great teacher, but she is an exceptional woman! She made our class sooooo enjoyable, I actually looked forward to attending! She truly loves what she does and she encourages her students. Extra credit is offered...take it! I finished with 139% in the class. Would recommend her to everyone! She is a HOOT!!

Comment:

Very easy. A D- is considered 100%, and if you fall slightly short of that, you just have to write a paragraph to explain why, and you'll get 100%. On the final test, a C is considered 100%. Psychology is more interesting than other subjects, so that just makes it easier. Prof is very nice and interesting. Don't wait last min. to do the book report
