Professor Recorder is the one of the best mathematics professor in the CCSU I ever had. His exam are very clear. If you do exam review, you will get A in the exam. He is helpful in class, in emails and office hours. He is the BEST, If you are looking for a good mathematics professor in CCSU then he is the choice. You can retake exam 1&2.

Professor Nunez is not the best professor. He does not respond to emails and is rarely in his office. If you need to contact him about something, it is nearly impossible. His grading on tests is also very unfair. If you provide a solution that is not to his liking, even though it is correct, he will mark it wrong. This teacher made me hate math.

He's a very intelligent guy. His lectures aren't that hard to follow. He does have an accent which takes bout 1-2 class to get use to. He's super helpful in office hour, definitely take advantage of it. He also allows retakes and gives extra credit, which is helpful. Attend the class and do the homework and you should be fine.

Sometimes has a hard time getting his ideas across clearly. He gives a reasonable amount of homework and a few online quizzes. We had 3 exams and the final, all of which were only 8-10 questions and not incredibly difficult. He also gave extra credit. If you attend class and do all of the exam reviews, you will pass his class.

Good professor who knows the topic well. Has a bit of an accent which is easy to get used to. Assigns a lot of HW/VERY difficult tests. He knows the subject is difficult and will work with you if you need it, such as allowing you to retake tests and postponing homework deadlines, and will answer any questions.

Took Calc II with him over the summer. Tough class, but he was more than helpful. Only problem was that homework and quizzes were taken online through MyMathLab and counted for a total of 25% of your grade. So you are forced to buy the course subscription. Other than that, good class.

Great professor. Provides ample opportunity to retain information. Nay-sayers are just upset because they're too stupid to get Calc regardless of teacher. Accent takes 1 class period to get used to. He does use a lot of technical wording to explain ideas, which can be tough. A more "layman's terms" explanation would help. Definitely knows material.

If you don't already have a good understanding of calc I wouldn't suggest taking him. He talks fast with a think accent. He has a really hard time explaining ideas and often gets confused if asked to explain again. He only does examples on the the board to try and explain and occasionally gets them wrong. Nice guy but not a good professor.

He knows his stuff but can not pass on the information clearly and in an understandable manor. He finds complicated ways to explain things. If you are good at math you will do okay in this course. If you take him be prepared to work hard.

A good guy but not a good prof. His accents not bad he just doesnt explain anything. I learned more on my own then when I would attend class. I hate WileyPlus with a passion I didn't do so well in this class which is partly his fault but mostly mine. Bottom line is he doesn't make it any easier for you so expect to work hard if not gifted with math

Worst professor I have ever had. Recoder-Nunez does not possess the skills necessary to be educating college students at all. He keeps his back to the class for most of the period, talks quickly with an accent, and does not explain things thoroughly. He isn't very organized either, overall just a bad professor. Stay away if you don't need stress

Class was annoying mostly due to a computer program used, not really prof's fault. Very good at explaining problems, but his accent is hard to understand. He knows his math, but get the feeling he doesn't really prepare for class. Teaches mostly out of the book so book reading is a must. Overall ok, not great, but not terrible either.

He was always there for help. Sometimes it's hard to understand him, but he tries his best. He goes strictly from the textbook. His exams are pretty difficult, but if you know what you're doing, then you should be okay. He only give 3 or 4 exams throughout the semester and that's what youre grade goes by.

He taught the material, but very fast. Your grade is based on 4 exams, no hw or quizzes. The last class of the semester we covered 2 new sections and didnt review for the final at all. He doesnt like answering your questions and makes you seem stupid for asking them. Nice guy, but if you are looking for a decent grade take a different teacher.
