If you are the type of student that requires practice in order to understand a concept, do not take this class. There are no practice problems, he only gives 2 homework assignments, with 1 question on each topic. Extremely tough grader, does not give partial marks. He is patronizing and repeats that he feels students have a poor base in math.

Good guy! Maybe he changed over the years? Unfortunately, we didn't cover much material in this class (we spent most lectures going over the quizzes and the assignments). The most challenging part was the end of the semester (INS), but we only covered simple examples in class. It seemed like he kept the hardest problems for the exams.

Course description does not represent what we saw in reality. We passed all the session correcting quizz or homework and learning about vectors. It was described as an avionic course. Do not take that class. Quizz are not clear and question are made to trapped you.

Smart guy, worthless teacher. You only realize how bad he really is when you try to make sense of the classnotes and his powerpoint slides. Final exam was a trap. Every question was a trick question or special case, making a large part of your studying useless. This is not a hard class, but his incompetence has guaranteed a high failure rate.

Incredibly unorganized. All over the place, uses one book and tells you to use other. Can't stick to one technique or topic. All over the blackboard, re iterates bobo stuff while flying past complex concepts. Tells you to solve examples with no solutions. What a waste of time. This class needs structure and a new prof. He's a mess.

I think this teacher has improved his methods. He answered every question I had in class without making me feel stupid in any way. Expect difficult but fair exams. His explanations are very clear. Do not expect him to be in office even if he says so. Don't believe all the hype about him.

The most arrogant person I ever dealt with in my entire life. Not all that knowledgeable but sure acts like a know it all. It’s really easy to screw with people, it’s much harder to help them learn and understand. This guy clearly doesn’t get it! FOR YOUR SAKE DON'T DEAL WITH HIM !!!

Very good teacher, very clear and knows the material inside out. However, you must know the material very well in order to pass or get above a D+. His exams are tricky and he's a hard marker. Do not get fooled by the occasional fair midterm. He brags too much about his Stanford degree.
