Great teacher. I found him to be a great at explaining code, and the processes behind the code. Highly intelligent, answers all questions, posts tons of examples on line. Tests are hard, but he is pretty fair.

The smartest person ever..EVER! If Marc Thomas really wanted to, he COULD divide by Zero. Once, Marc Thomas calculated the last few digits of PI, using only a pen and paper. Marc Thomas can rip a full DVD movie onto a single floppy disk. Marc Thomas's PC speaker outputs 8 channel surround sound. Best Professor in this department, by far.

Finally, a CSUB C.S. instructor that speaks English! However, Thomas' lectures are rarely helpful. The diagrams only confuse me and always look the same. Tests/Labs aren't too bad though. The book will be your best friend.

I wish Dr. Thomas could teach all of my classes! This guy knows his stuff. But he's not excessively hard... very fair. All CS majors know he is probably the best professor in the department.
