I honestly don't recommend taking the class with Finkel. She doesn't answer her emails and is just plain rude. I don't even think she knows what she's talking about most of the time. Not an easy A. So boring you will fall asleep

I absolutely love her! Pay attention and take good notes. She is so sweet and her class is really interesting. She knows a lot about the subject and teaches it great. She is old, has a hard time hearing, and she is clueless about technology but other than that she is really awesome. I definitely recommend her, I would love to take her class again.

ms. Finkle is a wonderful instructor.. just behave.. dont be rude.. and do your studiess... and u will b fine.. u can skip the book and just take notes on the names of the items she presents in class and use google and snip the images to go along with ur notes on each ...

Really easy class, impossible not to get an A. I didn't use the textbook and still got an A. Just take good notes on the characteristics of the slides, and you will do ok. Every day is important show up. Ms. Finkel you rock!

Mrs. Finkel is very nice. Extremely easy class, no homework ever, you wont need your book. She will give you a handout of exactly what will be on every test, it is impossible not to get an A. Be on time and do not text in class and you will be fine. She has seen almost every piece of art discussed in class in person. Very passionate & knowledgable

It's easy if you come to class, take notes, and then go over your notes before the tests. Also, take pictures of the slides she shows in class; helps a lot when studying for the tests. Be on time and stay on her good side. All in all, pretty easy class.

This class was fairly easy once you figure out how she teaches and tests..tip..take pics of her slides or write names down and google image the architecture and print 1s u need 2 memorize (I did the latter). It is an interesting class.I now have a better appreciation for architecture, art and culture.Teacher demands respect.Stay on her good side.

Her class was very easy. I got A's on all the tests. The bad things were that she often said the wrong information. She was awful. She mixed my name up with 2 other people in the class and gave me an incomplete in her class. I had papers and test to prove other wise but it was a big issue that took too long to correct. Don't take her class.

This class is so boring and the teacher is hard to hear. She talks too quietly & she gets easily annoyed by her students. She doesn't always know what she is talking about, especially with religion. She can be nice, but usually she seems irritated. Likes to make you stay the full 3 hours. I will not be taking an art class with her again.

Very pleasant and helpful teacher. I now appreciate art thanks to her. If you think you can slack off in this class, think again. Don't try to think that you can be slick texting. She is not the one to play with. Come to class, do your work, and you will pass.

not "guaranteed A" but relatively easy. Prof. shows slides containing art and sculptures. on exam, answer simple q's she talked about as u view them [what it represents, who/what, and vocab]. u get clear idea whats going 2 be on the exam coz she mostly tells u, exams are similar, and gives vocab sheet. pay attention to everything she says. 5 exams!

If you are not really interested in art then do not take this class. I'm an art major and I LOVED this class. She makes it fun. I did see some younger kids in the class who probably thought it was going to be a blow off class,they were snoring through her lectures.BE WARNED,it is not a blow off class. Marilyn is always willing to help students.

She stresses class attendance. Lectures are SUPER boring. Tests are hard even though she gives you a study guide (too many little facts to remember). Yells at students and is rude at times. I thought she was very mean to certain people and nice to others, suck up to her and you'll be fine.

i loved her. she is so nice and she wants everyone to do good. she lets you know exactly what you need to know for the test. she doesn't keep you the whole time, and she doesn't make the class any harder than it needs to be. great teacher.
