Honestly if you put forth the effort, you will pass the class. Theres about three books you have to read and there are multiple quizzes on each of them. Paper topics are usually picked by the student but has to relate to the book and he sets up meetings to correct your work which is nice. Make sure you participate!!!

He will meet with you before submitting every paper. He makes you read 2 books; however, they aren't that bad. Try to go to class as much as possible, if you miss a discussion try to get the notes because he is known for giving a pop quiz on the reading usually 10 or so questions. He is a very fair grader and loves to talk about baseball.

Dr. Graybill is a genuinely caring professor. If you give his class atleast a little time a week youll have a blast having discussions, it really doesnt take too much to have a good time within the classroom with him. If you have an issue let him know, hes a wonderful man, and he genuinely cares about his job and his students!

Extremely hard professor, harder than any other ENG101 class. Expects you to read way too many readings a night. Class can be interesting depending on what the theme is. Hard paper grader. Individual paper meetings are very helpful. Make sure you read because if not expect reading quizzes.

Graybill was pretty good. This was an honors course, but I did enjoy the readings. u do write a lot in the class and he is a pretty tough grader, but fair. Keep up with the readings or find good spark notes. Actually, most of his readings dont have spark notes, which was a bummer, but I would of skim and be fine. He also REALLY likes discussion

Very easy class if you do the assignments and participate in class. Test questions relate directly to the class discussions so if you pay attention in class and take notes tests are easy. Class grade completely dependent on tests and class participation.

Awesome teacher, really loves what he is teaching. There is a lot of reading in this class but you can look it all up on spark notes. Take a lot of notes and participate! If you do these two things, easy A. Overall, he keeps you interested if you give him a chance! I would recommend this class.

Graybill had some pretty hard essay topics to write about, however he always had you turn in drafts in which he corrected and made appointments to go over it. He improved my writing by helping me understand what I needed to focus on when writing. Hard class, but worth it.

Great teacher. Gave detailed lectures, but really wanted the students to participate more in the conversations. Gave two exams which were pretty self-explanatory. You have to take lots of notes if you want to pass.
