Comment:

Very knowledgeable prof, and the custom course pack he made for us was really well done. His voice was very soothing, though, made it hard to stay awake! Unfortunately he broke his hip about a month before term ended so we had a confusing flurry of substitute lecturers. I hope he's well now!

Comment:

I wish he would have kept people from talking. Often the real discussion was derailed by some, who, the moment a scrambled insight dawned on them, felt compelled to share their inabilities with the group as a whole. Worse yet, people would respond to these interruptions, and they would trigger yet more irritating talk.

Tweedale really knows his stuff and asks tough questions, but is always willing to entertain student insights. High quality prof. Very analytical in his approach and cool to metaphysics.

A very smart man who is incredibly knowledgeable. Lectures can be a little slow, but you generally will walk away having learned something. Very tough marker.

Horrible, He is the hardest marker ever. He is too boring, and slow. If you are not good at philosphy, don't ever take his classes. He is not being fair.

I liked him alot. I'll admit that his lectures can be a bit boring at times, but he encourages class participation and discussion which helps. He is extremely smart and a fair marker. His tests are hard though.

Tweedale has a reputation for being an extremely hard marker, but if you go to class and work hard you'll do fine. He gives great lecture notes and he's an interesting fellow. Great prof.

Tweeds is extremely knowledgeable. While his lectures can be boring at times, his courses are definitely worthwhile. He's at his best when he gets a bit animated...everything seems to get clearer when he gets excited.

This instructor is knowledgable about the subject matter he teaches, but he is a very poor lecturer. His slow rambling speech is ideal to fall asleep to, and he doesn't explain concepts well.
