Horrible professor. I asked for help but for some reason (wink, wink, I was the only Hispanic in her Holocaust class at the time) could not make time to help me. . .but I heard several classmates saying she stayed a couple minutes after her office hours to help them and she let them know she was going to stay just to help them.

I took it online really helpful you will have to do a group work on google and she will grade you depending on you participation you have deadlines to turn in assignments and can't be late or you will loose points. I took her over the summer and went pretty fast but not impossible.

She is a really great professor. I took her for HIST 144 my freshman year (my first upperdivision), and it was an easy A. If you ask for help, its there. You have to be in class to get assignments and instructions, but she makes class really interesting and is a good lecturer. She is very passionate and knowledgeable.

Comment:

Jordine is awesome. She's passionate about what she teaches and does a great job of it. The class isn't the easiest, but if you keep up with the readings and the assignments, you will pass. She's a pretty fair grader and offers extra credit. A few assignments, but only exam was the take home final. You do group work assignments often. No quizzes.

Attendance isn't taken but if you miss class you'll most likely miss an assignment or instructions to an assgn. A bit intimidating, she will correct you very bluntly when you are wrong but if you ask for help she is willing to assist you. The syllabus is followed very closely. Overall , I recommend this professor.

Great and funny professor. Interesting class. Talks a bit fast. Not an easy class, but becomes progressively easier with interest. Come to class or make a friend because she will NOT provide copies of notes/lectures. 1 in-class mid-term, 1 take home final, 4 group discussions, 1 essay, 1 book report. Gives extra credit opportunities.

Dr. Jordine is a great teacher! Very knowledable of all information she uses in class and all assignments were super easy. We read 2 books plus excerpts from related material and the quizzes were really easy. Midterm was difficult but final project easy but time consuming.

great subject, a lot of reading weekly quizzes. take home midterm offered 1 xtra credit. for final do exhibit not hard but time consuming. very approachable during office hours. offers enough time for project. read 2 books and assigned weekly readings. learned a lot on depressing holocaust subject. watched several movies in class.

Great class and great teacher! Dr. Jordine was my first CSUF teacher and I'm glad I took her class. Show up, take good notes, and take advantage of her office hours. She will help! She talks fast so try to keep up. Take her in all subjects she teaches! Hot too!

shes a really good prof. had her for hist 4 138 n 134 n got 2 B n 1 A in her classes. her expertise is ww2 n nazi germany n she has a really good knowledge about the subjects. she does offer at least 1 EC so do it when she does offer EC. overall, good classes w/ a great prof.

She is extremely knowledgeable lectures are very interesting but fast paced. 2 discussions, midterm, final, 5-7 page paper. Discussions are easy, but you have to read or you'll get no credit. She gives the questions that are on the midterm and final beforehand and will help you if you have questions. Paper is easy, she grades fairly. Great teacher

I had Dr. Jordine for history 4. The class really easy, there's a bunch of easy book work, a few quizzes and one big paper. The quizzes are easy as long as you study. The paper takes a little work but she grades pretty leniently. If you do the work its an easy A. She offers extra credit. She's extremely helpful if you have any questions.

Great teacher. She takes a week or so to get used to. Her way of explaining things is sort of fast-paced. Also, attendance isn't required per se, but if you miss class, you'll miss assignments (which are pretty easy). Also, if you screw up a quiz, don't worry. She grades very leniently. Tons of quizzes though, but you know in advance when they are.

She is super intelligent in her area of expertise Germany wwii. That is favorite era as well. She is crystal in her instructions and helpful with papers. She gives you enough time to read material and always willing to help you out, if you ask her.
