I only had him as a fill in for my professor but he was TERRIBLE!! He completely confused the entire class by doing unnecessary steps on problems or looking at a practice problem and saying I don't know how to do this let's move on. I rearranged my entire schedule on purpose so i didnt have to take him. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!

He is absolutely rude and makes you feel like the biggest failure in the world. He puts the name professor to shame because he absolutely unapproachable. His tests are ten questions per unit, so mess up on a couple and you're screwed. DO NOT take him. I was a National Merit Scholar and ended up getting a C in his class.

okay, he's really not that hard if you pay attention. i opened my book twice, literally and got an A in chem1&2. he has a dry sense of humor so if it's hard for you to pay attention i wouldn't take him. he gives you enough time on the clicker questions. and he does explain everything, he can answer Qs really well as long as they make sense.

He isn't the best and he istn't the worst. Read the textbook, do good on lab/recitation grades, and pay attention in lecture (I printed out the PPT's off D2L). Most importantly do TONS of practice tests. The tests will try to trip you up. But you can retake all of them once (except the final).

Explanations can be a little difficult to understand. Very thorough though, he's taught some things that other CHEM 1315 professors have skipped, like hybridized orbitals.

He teaches exactly what is off the PowerPoint slides. It would be more helpful if he would find a more entertaining way to teach the class.

If yuo have never takin chemistry before or took it a long time ago DO NOT TAKE HIM!!! He spends to much time on theroy and not enough time on how to do the problems. Lecture is boring and you dont really learn anything. You get clickers questions for extra credit which will become handy. Otherwise run unless u plan on teaching yourself.

I thought that Abraham was an amazing professor. He knows exactly what he's talking about and can explain things clearly. Lecture is usually boring, but he tries to make it interesting by showing videos of weird experiments. I sat in on Clifford's lecture several times, and never understood a thing. Abraham is MUCH better.

This guy does not know how to teach at all! My TA would correct a lot of the things he taught us in class because it was wrong. He does offer ec points and you will definitely need these points to make a decent grade in the class. Find another professor to take.

He is a nice old guy. if you do not know much about chemistry he is most likely not for you, he has some trouble relating to non-chem students. he is easily accessible if you need help though.

Only took this professor because Clifford was unavailable for Chem 2. Overall, an okay teacher, but nothing more. Lectures were pretty boring. If you get into his class, just do your work and study.

Professor Abraham....well, first off, he likes his computer and you have to be patient sometimes with him. Second, he is not that good of a teacher, however, he doesw know what he is talking about. He is so smart and knows his material so well that he doesn't know how to related to his students effectively.

His reviews are pointless because you set in class and do work. He expects when you come into the class that you already know most of the material. It was very frustrating if you had not had any Chemistry before...like most students in an intro course. Awful course. Get another teacher!

He enjoys playing on his computer a little too much for my tastes. His lectures are kinda boring, but some of the stuff he presents can be useful. He does a good job of referring to where you can find additional help, online notes, etc.
