Great professor. Very funny, extremely knowledgeable. Knows basically everything about asian politics. One of the best professors at Manhattan college. Very accessible outside class.

Comment:

The most intelligent and interesting professor i have ever had. Not an easy professor by any means but what I have learned in his class has stuck with me and helped me immensely in my graduate program. I strongly suggest that if you are a government major or if you take him for a class that you keep in contact with him.

he is funny and interesting. i wasnt interested in this class and got a B with only reading 3 out of the 20 readings. papers are easy and short as long as you do the reading before hand. participate and class and i guarentee that you'll get an A. midterm and final were a bit broad but he isnt a rough grader. You will learn a lot from this course!

Antolik is amazing. Even with a potentially boring class he makes it incredibly interesting. Classes are really engaging. You MUST participate for him to like you. Listen to his directions and you'll ace the papers. Tests are a little harder-a lot of material.

He's a really good guy. Teaches well and makes the effort to make sure that his students understand and have a handle on the readings and topics. He also knows his stuff. Asks challenging questions so be prepared to know some extra stuff when you answer something because he ask a tough follow up questions. All and all it was a good course to take

Antolik lectures well and has excellent classroom control. He fairly presents both sides of political issues and displays familiarity of somewhat obscure economic studies, which is impressive. A little too polite to the blindly opinionated and to the not so "well-bred" students. Arrive on time, participate stay on topic, and don't be too personal.

I believe Dr. Antolik is on sabbatical now, but if you ever have the chance to take one of his classes in the future, do so. He is definitely one of the top ten best professors in the Arts school. He is a hard grader, but if you put in the effort; you will get great results.

Definitely knows his stuff. Very knowledgeable, very clear on all his topics. Never takes a side in any debate and doesn't keep you in the dark on any side. Need to read and pay attention to know what's on the test. Papers are judged more on grammar than material. Excellent teacher.

Not bad at all gives extra credit and is incredibly fair, reads and shows the class newspaper clipping everyday, funny and entertaining. I would take him again. PLus he's doneright nice, dont be lateeee! p.s. he's from Canada
