Comment:

Great professor, great course. Tries to get students involved, sometimes runs through the material but visiting during office hours, he is more helpful then most professors. Great class either way. be prepared to spend a lot of time studying for tests, but readings are pretty easy and fast.

Great prof. Exams were very direct and easy(just do your practice exams and you'll do well). Teaching was great as well. He'll call on you in classes, so just be careful of that.

Best professor at Dickinson in my eyes - made him my advisor while taking the course. Extremely intelligent, but never looking down upon students and instead always serving them, doing the best he can to provide them with the means to understand and succeed. Funny at times as well. Take him, it'll be worth it!

Took him for Global Economy... by far my favorite class at Dickinson. Really knows his stuff, but makes it accessible to students without being condescending. Best kind of professor there is: smart, funny, good teacher, accessible, interested in his students. Take him!

Prof. Frat really is one of the best professors on campus. He's tough and sets high expectations for his students, but he is extremely knowledgeable, approachable, helpful, and flexible. He wants you to succeed. He sets a high benchmark for fellow faculty.

great class, very interesting, very good guy. i found the tests to be very hard. however, the other grades in the class allow you to make up for poor tests grades...just do well on the homeworks and papers and you are set as long as you do decent enough on the tests. if you aren't an IB&M major, take the class pass/fail.

Probably in my mind the most important course I have ever taken in my life. He is a brilliant teacher and he engages his students. Exams are fairly tough, but this will be one of the classes you will tell your grandchildren about.
