Comment:
Prof. Green is truly the crown jewel of the UCI EECS department! Outstanding and engaging lectures, very patient and helpful in office hours, and takes the time to respond to student emails in a detailed and timely manner. One of the few professors in the department who genuinely cares about students. I wish he could have taught all my classes!

very good lecture, knowledgeable and tries to answer all questions and relate it to the class. Very nice in office hour and very clear explanations. Only bad thing is he recycles his test questions A LOT and not enough homework for practice. The textbook is only mildly related so PAY ATTENTION in lecture. Every little detail is important.

Probably the best EECS Professor I have ever had at UCI. Excellent and engaging lecturer, cares about his students and manages to make every question sound like an intelligent one. Manages to do this while not compromising on the rigor of the course, which is really incredible.

Prof. Green is probably one of the bests at UCI. He has the knowledge and he knows how to teach his students. Unlike other faculties at UCI, he cares alot about you! Exams are hard, HW are ok, and labs are just average. If you want to learn something about EE, he is the one.

Friendly & clear at lecturing. Class was well-structured. He gave open-book & open-note tests, which emphasized applying material to new situations (need to UNDERSTAND the concepts & their applications). Go to all lectures, as he often dropped HW hints. Averages were low, but class was curved so that 66% of students got above a C+.

He is a really good person to learn the material about analog electronics from, since he teaches it in an intuitive way. He doesn't teach much from the Sedra textbook, but lecture notes are better than looking at the textbook. He had hard tests, but he has a generous curve at the end. Lots of A/A-'s for final grade. Go to Office hours for help.

One of the best professors I've had at UCI. Just took my final exam today and although it was tough, he really knows how to test his students and I felt I learned a lot just from taking the final. I know I'll miss him having him as a professor and for those who will have him, you're not go to regret it!

Truely an amazing professor and a great person. Unlike the rest of the teachers in UCI's EECS department, he actually cares about the student's learning! He will do anything in his power to help you out if you reach out to him. Probably the best EECS professor you will have in UCI!

Best man in the EECS dept. Respect him the most.notes are great,I used Sedra?s book. Amazing in O.H. Analog is hard by nature and his homework is a never ending loop. My suggestion for success in class, practice. For all the final problems think about the SSM, even if it is not what the question is saying. If U skipped a problem on HWK; U R Doomed!

He is very Zen like. Make sure you know the Ebers Moll Model. If you want, I can show you how to do an Ebers Moll walk. It's like C Walking. This class is very interesting, make sure you know how to take into consideration all the parasitics of transistors. Miller Caps are essential to learn before this class. Intellectually stimulating class

Dr. Green is hands down the best teacher I have had at UCI. He understands the material very well and does a very nice job presenting it in lecture. The course is challenging so going to office hours is recommended. You should buy BOTH text books and go to every lecture/discussion. 170C is dry but Green is an awsome teacher; you will learn a lot.

The professor knows his material, and does his best to try to articulate his thoughts on various analog circuits. Be sure to pay attention in class, and read over the material frequently to ask him questions in his office hours. He's probably one of the best engineering teacher's I've had at UCI.

Great teacher and knows what hes talking about. As for the material, you really have to understand it or you'll spend the rest of the class catching up and the book is worthless, go with the 113B book.

Like below, the book was never used. Tests were impossible. The book was really advanced and made the assumption the you knew analog design very well. He doesn't respond to emails. You are forced into OH if you have any kind of question. Sucked.
