Dr. Perona is an excellent teacher. Always explained everything very clearly (hard to do when the subject is physical chemistry!). He really cares about his students and always took the time to help me out in office hours. He is the sole person that influenced me to go to graduate school for physical chemistry!!

He is really nice but not the greatest teacher. He tries to get students to understand but he is all over the place. In order to pass this class you need to read the book along with the notes or else you will never get it overall not a bad professor

the class is hard, yes, but simply crunching numbers every lecture for 57 minutes? I need theory and explanation to achieve comprehension. The book sucks as well. But what can you do? Nothing. hahaha good luck

Dr. Perona is a great Chemistry teacher and I hate chemistry! He made it as simple as it can get for a difficult subject in nature. Tests are hard but it's definitely possibly to do good if you really study his notes and understand the concepts from the book. Attend class and listen very carefully!

Dr. Perona is a good teacher. His lectures can be dry, he spends most of the time writing on the chalk board, but he does show some examples. He wants people to succeed and he is happy to spend time going over concepts in his office hours.

Solutions Manual was extremely helpful for me in this class. Perona has a fair testing style that is 60% multiple choice and 40% equations. He has practice exams and old exams posted online that allow you to know exactly what to study. He is definitly the easiest of the chemistry teachers I have had over the years.

He's one of the best prof's i've had. Fellows the book and gives many examples. His exams are pretty easy as long as u do the problems on the back of the chap and glance over the your notes. He's also always there for extra help most of the time.
