She is very passionate about helping international students. She likes people that talk softly, just check out her linkedin recommendations, if you seem like a combative or remotely aggressive person she will throw you into the category of, "difficult to work with" and then you pay the price. Can be passive aggressive.

As good as they come. Her lectures are complete and detailed. Examples given. 8.5 x 11 cheat sheet both sides for all tests. Tests are straight forward and not difficult if you have your cheat sheet. I met her in office hours and she was really nice and sincere and wants people to pass. I'd recommend showing up to lectures, makes life easier.

Straightforward professor, straightforward class. Show up, take notes, do homework. For tests, make sure to bring an 8 1/2 x 11 cheat sheet. Tests are fairly easy - pick out the correct formula from your cheat sheet, plug in numbers. Basically plug and chug. Nothing too difficult. Overall, an easy A.

This class is setup for you to pass. HW problems & handouts are on canvas so don't need textbook if you go to class. Can bring 8.5x11" cheat sheet to quizzes & midterm, just do the HW problems & the practice midterm. HW almost every week (must submit at least 7 HW to pass the class).

Class is straight forward. Show up to class and take notes. Her notes are very similar to the homework and the exams. You won't need the textbook since she scans the required problems and tables for you. There are 3 quizzes, 2 midterms, and 1 final. She is also easy going and will curve student's grades if class average is low. Recommended!!

Her teaching style is pretty straight forward, do the homework and study it with practice exams, then you will be fine. Didn't do so well on her midterms, but did better on finals. Got a B. She does individual curves. She's not a harsh grader, a lot of partial credit for trying.

Hands down, the best professor for STATISTICS!! her classes are so easy, so well-explained, crystal clear, quizzes and exams are also based on what she explains in the class. Very helpful even outside the class. A very good mentor too. I would highly recommend this prof to anyone who wants to learn STATISTICS!!

She teaches with her heart, regardless of where you sit on the intelligence spectrum. Visit her during office hours and you will get a thoughtful solution to your problem. If you practice enough, you will easily understand the material and will likely get an A too. Class average was around 85%. It was an honor taking Dr. Patel's ISE 130 course.

She is not only a wonderful professor, but also a greatly compassionate person. She teaches you what you need to learn and she will go very far out of her way to help you understand it. Any time you need that extra time with her, she makes herself available for you. Only wished there were more like her. Thank you Dr. Patel!

This is the first time I've ever been compelled to write a review. Dr. Patel is wonderful. She's very knowledgeable in the subject matters, and comes prepared to class every time. She's never missed a clsss and always ask for feedback from student before moving on to next topic. I will definitely recommend her. She's always available to help.

STUDY her EXAMPLES ( do not miss a single lecture ) + DO THE HW=Doing well on her exams! For HW-if stuck, go to her Office hours, she is very helpful- Lectures fast, but pay attention to any example she does as this is the key to the HW + Midterms! Highly reccommended! ;)
