really nice, sweet lady. If you want help she's always willing. I learned a lot in the class, and she was always very encouraging. Sometimes it was a little hard to hear here(over people playing their keyboards aloud while she was talking)

(Keyboards I) -- The teacher was very nice; But when she taught, she had us play an easy warm-up about forty times over, for most the class time, and then we would get only ONE try on each song. While I learned the warm-ups by heart, 90% of the class couldn't play the songs along with the 3 who could. And then she would say "Good!" and move on.

Dont take this class....she requires allot of outside class work...incredibly boring...i asked my friends who had previously taken v08 (different instructor) and they had to do 1/4 of the work we did to get an A!!

I took this class Fall 07. We were not able to use cheat sheets on the tests as stated by other students. I did not enjoy the class very much because of two reasons: 1) The lectures were very boring and the majority consisted of extremely boring music. 2) We had to do TWO concert reports. However, she is an extremely nice lady and willing to help.

She requires a lot of outside class work. Concert reports, student report, listening logs. In class notes are vague and the tests aren't exactly 'easy', they require a lot of knowledge. I suppose if you're into music it's a nice class but if you're just trying to get G.E. credit it's not exactly a walk in the park. Currently i'm getting and A tho.

EAAAAAAAAAAASY CLASS.I went imto the final with a D+ because i ditched 2 much,but i just checked my grade,and i got a B.U will pass this class.But a word of warning,the music u will listen 2 is boring.a + about this class,is the fact that its transferable.

She was very nice, gave plenty of time to do assignments. Lets you do your scales and songs over until you get the grade you want. Explains the mechanics of piano pretty well, she helped me figure out what digital keyboard to buy.

boring subject! hard to pay attention if your not interested. ok teacher though...dresses funny but knows what shes talking about. tests are easy if you make the cheat sheet that she allows...doesnt seem to be too picky about attendance and tardiness...

Easy teacher. Cheat sheets for all tests, even the final. Just do your cheet sheet from the information in the book and its an easy A. Only extra work is 2 concert reviews for the whole semester, and a listening log due 3 or 4 times for 10 points each time. Easiest class ever!

Shes a little funny. Shes nice though, and not very hard. You just have to listen and take notes, and i think i remember you get to use a cheatsheet for the tests. or its open notes. overall a good class to take. a bit boring sometimes, but worth the A.
