No solutions to homeworks or any practice problems were given. Essentially this was a self-study class since she barely taught anything. Don't take topology unless you're a genius because intro to analysis didn't help.

Oh my gosh, what even was this class. Her lectures are a complete mess that are hard to follow a lot of the time that you're definitely better off reading the text learning the material. I tried to go to lecture and gain SOMETHING from her but nothing. Unless you're gifted in math you WILL struggle to learn from her; coming from a math enthusiast.

She is probably the best professor I've had at SBU so far. The course I took was a 400 level seminar class (in addition to an extremely heavy math course load I had). She was always accommodating and understanding of personal issues that got in my way. She took an active interest in my success and was always there for help outside of class.

Really excellent professor who clearly cared deeply about making sure her students left the class proficient in what was studied. Choice of textbook and design of the class progression were both fun & compelling. Makes you earn the grade, & the work ends up being well worth it. Would highly recommend taking a class with her.

She constantly got lost in my class staring at the bored for many minutes to just start over an example again. The recitation i had attached to this course was ahead of the lecture and she did nothing when notified. Seemed to worry more about concepts. Would constantly change the values of pretest questions during review so did not help to attend.

Her teachings are completely insufficient when compared with what she tests us on. Students must both completely rely on the textbook and dedicate extra time in learning the subject when preparing for her exams. Her expectations of us are irrational and inconsistent with her class.

Does not help students. Refuses to go over all of the HW. Tells students to figure it out. You are essentially paying to read a textbook since attempting to understand what she is sort of trying to say will leave you even more confused. Tests are hard and graded mercilessly. AVOID THIS TEACHER!!!

This professor is horrendous. All she does is read notes off a board and does not teach. She actually made it worse because she could not speak. Her assignments were confusing and not well explained and left the student completely lost. I did not learn a thing in this class.

WORST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY WHOLE LIFE! she legitimately doesn't care at all to help her students and you cannot understand her spanglish at all - thickest accent- always makes mistakes and her TA's don't even care. i dread this class every single time. clicker quizzes every lecture.

Similar to what others have said, she does often make mistakes in class, however they are small mistakes like simple addition and multiplication. Plus, the class corrects her anyways. Her lectures are not so exciting but she does provide helpful slides. Her exams are not too difficult if you study her review problems.
