Dr. Browne is very old school and can come off rude to a lot of people, I personally did not have any issues with her. Just respect her rules and you'll be fine. Test questions all come from the lectures so if you're not a good note taker you should record the lectures. She does give extra credit and will round up if she feels you've earned it.

She tested us on chemistry, and this was A&PI. No lecture on it, and no real resource to self teach yourself. My main issue is her tests are well written but her choices can go from A-L/M/N which means that can be up to 14 different choices. That is way to many when I am not trying to be a doctor.

Don't waste money on a book, you wont use it. The only thing you need is the lab manual. Take very good notes, and get a recorder. She tests from her lectures.

Don't bother buying a textbook. If you take great notes, she's an EASY A. Attend ALL classes & labs. She allows you to record lecture so if you miss class, make sure you get that recording because you NEED good notes, not anyone else's. She knows her stuff. EXTREMELY knowledgeable. I took her for A&P I & II and recommend her to a lot of students.

By the reviews here I was terrified to take her. Tbh wasn't that bad. Old school, uses a projector screen, nothing online, no PowerPoint. Pay attention in lecture, take good notes and you'll be fine. Tests are long and based 100% on what is covered in class. You don't need the book. Find someone who kept their tests, study those, and you'll pass.

You get what u put into it! She does a great job at teaching the material and is very helpful if u do not understand. Has a great sense of humor! If you know someone who has taken her prior ask them for tests, it helps to know her style and her tests go off of her lectures in class. I am enjoying this class with her as she makes it interesting!

I sold my soul in order to get a decent grade in this class. If you want to do remotely well you will have to write down every word she says and study it like the bible. She has a good memory but she really doesn't explain, perhaps even understand, what she is teaching. Nancy also has quite the rude personality, very unforgiving and confrontational

As long as you study the material, and attend her lectures the class isn't that hard. If you skip lectures, and don't study for lab tests there is no way you will pass. We started the class with 24 students and ended with 10. I recommend her, but only if youre ready to study... A LOT

Dr. Browne tests are based off of her own lectures. Did not read the textbook once this semester even though shell reference images in the text (I wouldnt buy it). Found a study guide book at Barnes and Nobles that went directly along with her lectures. She allows you to record her lectures which is nice and allows allows you to ask questions.

To pass this class with this professor, you need to study for her tests and practicals for twelve hours like every day. She doesn't use the book, but her tests are actually what she lectures about! She isn't very lenient, but she won't mark you completely wrong if you misspell a word. This class is difficult, but nobody said A&P was easy... ever.

Do not take Anatomy and physiology with her! Lectures are boring and have no correlation to the lecture exams. She doesn't properly prepare you for lab practicals, which are very extensive while throwing many curve questions your way. Not to mention there is no final exam review at all, "just look at notes" is how you "prepare".

Her tests are about 80 questions. She picked on about 4 of us starting from day 1! I even had to move seats because of this and she didn't stop then. She treats you like you're in kindergarden and even uses an old school projector for notes. You've been warned!

Knowledgeable and strict. Everything you need for the tests are from her notes, very little if any from the textbook. No test bank. She is fair but she is strict. Good note taking and understanding of the information given and you will pass relatively easily. Passed without looking at text, just going over her lecture notes.

the selection at lssc is poor. leibner is better than browne or wood, but he is in south lake. do not take eagle. the other reviews are spot on, however, i recommend reading the book. many students who relied entirely on notes failed. her tests are not standardized. she is easily distracted. she has asked students to leave lab tests for touching

Dr. Browne is an excellent professor who has a great love of her work and a great lecture style. The course is very tough & I'm not sure if it's really necessary to go into the 8 sutured bones of the nose. All pre-"medical fields" students. Memorization and following her lectures are the absolute key to succeeding in this course.

I took Ms. Browne for Anatomy 1. Ms. Browne is a very strict teacher. You must pay attention and take very good notes. All of her tests are strictly from her notes. She's informative and likes to have educational discussions. The class isn't easy, so study hard.

Toss the book and take good notes. Be recorder buddies with somebody. She's sharp and yes, she has an attitude, but if you're going into a medical field you need to know this stuff. Dr. Browne knows her stuff! Study your notes, flash card the anatomy practicals (or take pictures of the torso and parts in lab). Years from now you'll still thank her.

VERY difficult teacher, you have to study a LOT, pay attention in class, and attend EVERY class. I did great in this class, and she is a good teacher, she shares a lot of cool facts, but likes to show off with all the information she knows,ad shoves her degree in your face.

LOVE Dr. Browne!! I wish all teachers were like her. She's pretty hardcore and has a serious set of class rules that really are just common sense and make concentrating in class easy. Keeps lectures entertaining. Don't take unless you are a serious student. Requires a lot of time and effort but you will learn A LOT! No hw assignments, just test grades. Buy a recorder and study off of the lectures. Any A&P book will do so don't bother buying from the bookstore. Enjoy!!!

It was a love / hate relationship for the semester. I received an A in the class but would not take her again. The tests are easy..If you have the prior tests from other classes. If not (I didn't) it's difficult to study before getting her test method down. Practicals take lots and lots of time to do well. There is extra credit that is easy..
