She is a very nice lady, but is confusing at times. I found subject very interesting however most do not. She is very passionate about her job and subject and very helpful IF YOU ASK HER. I would recommend, but must have prior knowledge/interest in subject.

Pam tells you what will be on the test and is very helpful in preparing your exam essay questions if you ask. It's a very easy class if you put in effort. She sometimes gets a little off topic, but she relates class to current issues, and she is a very nice lady who is always willing to help. Take her!

Basically, I loved Pam. She was really sweet and passionate about her job. To get a good grade though you must read A LOT and stay up-to-date on news around the country. Also, raise your hand because discussion points are a big factor in grading.

I absolutely hated this class and professor. I was actually excited to learn something but this prfessor taught me completely nothing. It was a waste of my time beyond belief. She took the first 30 min of class to tell everyone how bad people were doing. And when people had questions she was very hostile.

I honestly despise this professor. She never ever taught me anything. I have no idea how you can just waste 55 minutes like she does but it is possible. All she does is talk about random things that pop into her head that have minor relevance in the class. You have to teach yourself from the book if you want to learn. DO NOT TAKE HER.

Pam is a good teacher but it is easy to get confused sometimes. Definitely recommend reading the textbook even though it is long. I found it difficult to take notes but if you listen and are engaged its not a tough class. Read handouts as well. Pam is very easy to approach and is very willing to help with most things. Great Professor

You need to do 80 hours of community service in one semester, plus read like 6 books and write 4 papers. 2 are super strict in the writing. She is a hard grader and gives u more work than u get credit. Take Non-profit instead. Shes very scatter brained and class is a waste of time.

Prof Rodgers is VERY nice but kind of disorganized. Her notes can be confusing and there are times when you end up having to teach yourself. However, the class is still easy and she clearly cares a lot about her students. She's always happy to answer questions and help you if you don't understand something.

Nice lady. Knows her stuff, but cannot communicate info clearly. Tests are pretty hard but somehow I end up doing well (easy grader). She goes off on tangents and things get confusing. Avoid.

She is a very helpful teacher. She stresses coming to see her if you need help. You will write 3 narratives (3 page approx), 4 formal essays (5-7 page), and 3 short essays (1-3 page). All papers are 14 Font, double spaced. Lecture can be boring. She tries to help everyone understand. She laughs at herself sometimes. Easy class for general ed.

She gives a ton of handouts, a lot which are never used. Her notes are a little dysfunctional but if you listen and teach yourself what she puts on the review sheets its not bad. She cares about her students and likes to help. I ended up getting an A.

Her class is pretty boring and the notes she gives on the board are hard to follow. there are lots of handouts; some of which you will actually use. i'm getting an A in the class, but it comes with effort. you dont need to attend every class, but be prepared to read the book a lot if you want to get a good grade.

Pam wants everyone to get good grades, she tries really hard to provide opportunities for help to. YOu have to do the reading, and you have to not mind writing papers to take her. But she is the kind of professor that'll help get you connected with the right people no matter what your major is!

She never went over anything in class that was on a test & gave out pointless handouts. You need to basically do your own studying for this class because she's completely useless.

I am a poli sci major so I really wanted to take this. Halfway through, I switched my major. The first test was unexpected and hard. Then she dropped 50 points since most people did bad. I learned how to do good in her class. I got A's on all the other assignments. You have to adapt to her style of teaching. She is helpful at proofreading essays.

pam is the most unorganized person ever. she hands out a lot of handouts that are usually irrelevant to class. what she talks about in class doesnt help on exams. you have to study if you want to do well. she is a tough grader on essays so be prepared for an assesment an english prof. would do.

Professor Rodgers is a very nice lady, but she is a horrible professor if you want a friend and not teacher. Her organization is nonexistent and she rambles constantly. She has a mental handicap, she even said that. If that isn't enough, she spits when she talks too. DO NOT TAKE HER!
