Comment:

Professor Wattenmaker is very knowledgeable in what she teaches and is excited to answer questions. She is very helpful during office hours and is a fair teacher-always asking the class to vote on things (such as changes in exam dates). Definately take good notes during class because exams are free response and short answer (very fair).

Comment:

Wattenmaker is a great professor. She might show up late to class a few times but she more than makes up for it with her interest in her students. She will do anything to help her students and is so clearly interested in and good at what she does!

Incredibly approachable. Maybe a bit disorganized, but if you are truly interested in her classes, this does not matter. She will not baby you, she will give you plenty of room to flourish on your own. If you show her you are interested she will love you. Pretty easy A if you put in some effort. Incredibly excited by enthusiastic students.

Comment:

This class should not have been as much of a hassle as it was. Lectures are not organized at all. She is very knowledgable but her lack of organization and zeal during lectures makes them a real bore. Yet you still need to go to the lectures to know what will be on the exams.

Perhaps a nice lady, but a horrific teacher. Lectures would span for days without any comprehensible point or theme. Her rants made little sense and were always coupled with late grading and irregular, unfair grading practices. This is one of the worst classes I have ever taken during my entire scholastic career. Avoid like plague!

Awful. Late to class, utter disorganization! It was VERY frustrating to have her as a professor. We didn't get the study guide for our Tuesday exam until Sunday at 11pm! Her lectures have no rhyme or reason. Steer Clear at all cost!

She is a complete and utter airhead. Totally not with it, and her lectures are amazingly disconnected and tangental. The reading is boring, but nothing really important there, and it's not hard to do well... just hard to put up with her! Avoid her classes.

I would steer clear. Very boring class, tests are difficult only because the lectures are no good and therefore do not suppliment the insufferably boring readings. She is very nice and prob. very smart, just not the best teacher. Do yourself a favor and take a different class.

Lectures are well put together, and she seems nice. Her exams are pretty straightforward, and she knows a whole lot about the subject matter. She doesn't have the best speaking manners; she says "um" a WHOLE lot during lecture.
