This class is amazing! But if you are just looking for an easy grade this is not the class for you. Although Aiello is very laid back, his exams are straight down to business and long. If you want anything higher than a C, you are actually going to have to put in the effort and read the material.

One of the best professors at VC! He is enthusiastic, funny, and you can tell he loves teaching the subject. Only 4 assignments for the semester. The tests are not bad, he gives review sheets with actual test ?'s. He allows students to attend the class time of their choice. He TRULY cares about his students and wants everyone to pass!

Took His morning class last spring. He is one of the best professors that I have had at this college. Can go off on tangents, and does often, but knows how to teach. I highly recommend him.

Aiello is great! He talks a whole lot during class, and what he says sometimes is random and unrelated. On the other hand some of the things are on the test, so pay attention anyway. Can get boring sometimes, but still a great class overall.

He is an amazing teacher. I absolutely love him. He's a precious little old guy who most say resembles Darwin. Fair teacher and understanding. Great overall class. You might want to take the lab along with this class, it'll help you understand the material better.

Already an Anthro major but unenthralled in physical/biological aspect of this major I was weary of taking this class but Mr. Aiello absolutely excited me on the subject matter & since i've changed my educational goal to get a science degree. Class is difficult but with good attendance & note taking quite possible for the A. Highly reccomended!

I took Mr. Aiello's class back in 1983. I found his class interesting. His views though were (at the time) totally wrong with relation to evolution and the way the world has unfolded and been proven over the past 20+ years. He was so adamant that evolution (in scientific terms) was so factual... when in reality... we're all still learning!

Old but he's got some energy left, like a snickers bar that's been sitting around for a while, by the time you leave class you're hyped up and rdy to power a city. smart, funny (did i mention funny) knows his bones. tests are off of the book, his handouts, and lectures. easy if you want to learn.
