Dr. Clarke is an amazing supervisor. Would recommend 10/10!!!!! He is very supportive and cares about the work in the lab. There's an amazing team working for Dr. Clarke (look for Helena if she's still there). The rats are adorable.

Dr. Clarke is a really great prof. Even if there is not much writing on the slides he is very clear as to what you need to know and what you can kind of skim over. Ask him as many questions as you like, he's always there after class to help. I can't say his questions are the easiest but they're doable. Know drug names he tells you to memorize.

Great teacher: funny, clear, knowledgeable and approachable. I found his part easiest; he focuses more on experiments to validate drug targets. His exam questions are not tricky but you need to be logical; memorizing the drugs names/effects isn't enough.

He cares about students, very helpful with questions. His 562 exam questions were much easier than in 301, and other 562 profs. His questions this year were very straight forward, did not try to fail students with exceptionally difficult questions, like some other 562 profs did. As long as you understand his experiments, you will do well.

Dr. Clarke, 301 is an undergraduate course! Please don't assume everybody likes, and is going to do research! I don't mind learning all the experiments, but he often skips through the conclusion/concepts behind them. His lectures were super-unorganized, did not emphasize important concepts, and unclear with what we had to know for the exam.

He is an amazing lecturer. Other profs from McGill should really learn from him... Backs up theories with different experiments and gives lots of interesting background to all of his course material (most background info are not on the exams). On top of that, his british accent is the hottest I've ever heard. Go to class just to hear his voice.

I just love this professor. He is so creative and thinks outside of the box. I have rarely had such an interesting and cultivated prof, who engages and helps his students so much. He is very funny and has awesome slides that keep you entertained throughout his lectures. Also, if you go and ask him questions outside of class, he is extremely patient

Dr. Clarke is an unbelievable supervisor. His research is interesting, he always has an open door, and he is extremely supportive of his students. I learned a lot from him over the course of my project. Not to mention, he is hilarious. With Paul you will work hard but get a lot out of the experience. Take him if you can, you won't regret it!

Dr. Clarke was an amazing supervisor (and amazing PHAR 301 lecturer- that's what got me interested in working in his lab!). He is very hands-on with you which is rare to find in a supervisor. He helped me learn so much in such a short amount of time! The lab atmosphere was great as well. Everyone was so helpful and the work was interesting.

Dr. Clarke was a wonderful research project supervisor. I knew nothing about pharmacology before I started and he was nothing but patient with me and explained all the concepts clearly and succinctly, and supported me throughout my research project. I couldn't have asked for a better supervisor. Rob was awesome too!

Great lecturer and his exam questions are a little on the tough side-they require you to think a little, it isn't simple regurgitation. But if you know your material, you'll be able to fly through the exams. Very easy to understand...he even has some funny jokes. But he does talk quite a bit so prepare tto write a lot of notes.
