My fav professor here so far! He truly cares about his students & makes sure to engage everyone into what we are learning. I have learned so much in this class and I genuinely wanted to go every day even though it was at 8 AM! He is so funny and makes boring topics very interesting. You do use ur textbook every day and the tests are weighted heavy.

He is an amazing professor, one of my favorite Spanish professors that I have had so far, he is always positive and excited about class, he is very kind and laid back and I really enjoy the atmosphere he provides

Pablo truly cares about his students and loves what he does, and he makes every class super fun and enjoyable. Rather than being nitpicky about grading precise Spanish grammar and accents, he wants his students to understand important topics in the readings and discussion. He is an extremely nice, funny, happy person - favorite Spanish professor

Pablo is an amazing professor! He truly cares about his students and wants you to do well. I learned a lot in this class and feel much more comfortable with my Spanish speaking abilities now. I would highly recommend him!

Pablo is a great guy and his class is super fun. He pretty much talks only in english and assigns no homework. Doesn't teach much info, you basically just read the short story from the textbok before class and discuss it in class. He will call on you so read it! it takes like 5 mins.

Dr. Hoff is a very kind man and a good professor. Unfortunately, he had to leave 5 weeks before the semester ended. This exact thing happened to me when I took his class the previous year and he then, also, left a couple of weeks before the end of the semester. I know he had no intentions of doing so, but it left me sour. Overall, recommended!

Pablo was great! I would take him again in a heartbeat. He was funny, SO caring, and he made Spanish fun. The lectures were actually interesting. And if you needed absolutely anything, he was always there to help. His jokes were also great. Take his classes!

Honestly the best teacher ever! Pablo Hoff made class fun and learning meaningful. I recommend him for any Spanish class! Make sure you ask him about his movie interests!

Dr. Hoff was a fine teacher. He was an easy grader and class was very laid back which was nice. I didn't have him the entire year but while I did he was very kind although his class was not very challenging. I'd take him again. He's a good guy.

Pablo is awesome! He's extremely passionate about what he does, and he is excellent in class. He is very fun to talk with and truly cares about students. I highly recommend! The class was based on 2 big exams, and 1 oral presentation.

Hoff is a nice guy, but doesn't seem very enthusiastic about teaching or care about his students' well being. Never emails back. Always arrives at least 5 minutes late. 3 papers which were easy, but grading DID NOT make sense. If you don't want to improve your Spanish, take Hoff, but if you're serious about learning Spanish take someone else!

This class was all a review from previous Spanish classes. I did not learn anything new. 3 papers that are easy, but graded a little harsh. 1 ten minute presentation... but he is not strict on the time limit, and it can be on any topic. 1 debate... everyone got an A. this could change once they get a new textbook next year though

Pablo is a great guy. Anyone who doubts that needs to rethink something about their life. However his class (302) is completely worthless. I have not learned anything about the spanish language this semester I didn't already know. The papers have easy themes. Do not stres this class. Take it with someone else if you actually want to learn something
